So hard to trust the Cowboys who took us for a ride so many times in the past. Not for a whole game as I feel the backdoor cover for the skins is due against all the stats about the fourth quarter etc

OK Phixer for the 1st time you really have me dumb founded. You like the Boys for at least 31 (4 TD's and FG) If Boys get your 31 then for you then to at least push the Skins bet @ +9 they would score at least 22. That's 53 yet you didn't bet over 49

i would say i am leving that for a halftime bet - but you are right. you and my wife are both right. i am dunb at times.

TURNOVERS...The variable you cant count on.....How many times do you see a ball carrier fight fight try and get extra yard after big play instead of going down and then cough up the ball..Boyz moving the ball gotta get it in the end zone.

great screenplay with all the drama and all the baloney. romo and jerry jones back to their hole playing heores while being small time crooks. america loves a newly born mccoy and the bettors go home with their tails between their legs excusing themselves with injuries and unexpected turmovers. although it was a winning night for me - i cant help being disgusted from the cheap production.

Finally a home team loses and the game goes under on a Prime Time game.  You know Vegas is laughing all the way to the bank.  So what did we learn last night.  If receiver catches ball in his hands Cowboys score a TD and lead 14-10 instead of 10-10.  Next series they score TD and should have been up 21-10.  Weeden would have given Cowboys better chance than Romo did.....LAST NIGHT ANYWAYS.  Cannot trust the Cowboys as a favorite.  Cannot trust Redskins no matter what.  These NFC East Rivalry battles it seems like the underdog is winning a lot.  Looking ahead the Cowboys play AZ at home who is getting no respect.  Boyz will be looking to bounce back...Redskins may not be done celebrating by the time they go to Minnesota to play Vikings.  The big game of the week will be Den New Engl and Den opened -3.  For what its worth Phix my opinion is Den will represent AFC and win Sbowl this year.  Pains me to say it.  I dont think NE is as good as they have been in the past.  Short road Faves will break you by investing in them.....Teams that lose games they could have won and should have won seem to bounce back very well.  Last week it was Houston who outplayed Pitt but lost.  Baltimore Philadelphia Tampa and Carolina all fit that bill.  Scratch out Tampa Bay who lost off a bye preparing for Vikings for 2 weeks.  Baltimore getting any points is a bonus against Pitt.  They have been on the road for what seems like a month though.  Philadelphia heads to Houston after setback in AZ.  Carolina at home on a Thursday night against the resurging Saints.... Everyone saw New Orleans demolish a good Packers team and also watched Carolina get beat in a struggle against somewhat desperate Seattle team.....Sorry Phix not trying to tread the thread in any way.  Just throwing out some things to think about and look at.  ...Being a Raider fan I will tell you this.  Wait for halftime and go against the Raiders in every game and you cannot spend all your money.  They generally hand around in first half.  I had them plus 3.5 in Cleveland and needed the hook to win the wager.  Cleveland was -6 to -6.5 in second half and covered that easily.....  I am always getting information and picks from you Phix....Just wanting to point out some things I have noticed....Not that you will take or use it....Just simply putting it out there for you....Thanks Phix for all you do and sharing your opinion and tomorrows morning paper with us that know you have it ...haha

Phix....I know your a pro guy but just saw Florida State -3.5 over Louisville on Thursday night.  Something fishy about that line to me. Big time college game everyone will see.  Florida State being questioned by the experts.  If they struggle it will continue if they lose they are out of defending their title.  I just brought it to your attention because of the line really...I figure you may not even check college lines and focus strictly on NFL.....Just wondering if you get the whole sports section in adavance or just the NFL...haha  Thanks

Hi Phix...

This is my first post and I wanted to say thank you for your thoughts. Your record shows you are majority winner. I decided to roll with you on the first half and took the cowgirls -7 and the under. Although after reading further on what you said I decided to take WAS M/L and I parlayed that with the under. Plus I took the under. Overall I won. The M/L 2 game parlay was just too juicy for return on investment. It just seemed their was so much hype on Cowgirls winning for sure in Jerry's world. When I saw everyone and their mother taknig dallas I felt more and more confident on my choice. Anyways.... Thanks for your thoughts

NFL Week 9 TNF: CAR Panthers vs NO Saints

The Saints are enigma for me. Triple faced team that is hard to decipher. Carolina - on the other hand is the team that is enigma to itself. Those two will meet in the game that will open  the second half of a regular season. The Saints beta the Packers in a game that Packers were more of a loser than the Saints a winner. With Rogers underperforming and Brees firing on all cannons. The Sainst have a hard time playing away and are absolute 0-4. That is the only reason I think they have a chance - a fair one - to come back to the NO with a win. Will they cover? I think that they will be very weak in the first half but will sign the second with a comeback.
