@JStaley, btw the rules stated favor your betting style (i.e. +120 lines or better only)....why does that matter?  All that matters is you make money lol.

And why force 3 plays a day....some days you may have 5, some days you may have 0.....depends on if there's value available.  Plays shouldn't be forced.

On the contrary, and coming from a less than educated/experienced direction.  In MLB, due to the large volume of opportunities, there are more values available.  Playing 1, or 2 plays a day requires much bigger plays to make the same amount of money, and forces you to become much more vunerable to devastating down swings.  And as far as "who would do that, it is outlandish", are you talking from a space of complete ignorance, or have you looked at my results and just choose to not pay attention?  Curious

If you have ever been in a handicapping contest you would be more familiar with the parameters.  Leave it wide open and you;ll have a hard time determining a winner.  My kid could  pick 70% winners if I coached him for 20 minutes (Pick all -200 lines).  Or put denominations ($ amounts) on and then you have a whole new set of perimeters in order to make it fair, think about it, SoulGlo post plays 6 to 8 times larger than mine, imagine the challenge of keeping up with that--apples to oranges.  I would be willing to make it -110 or better, but I seriously don't see him accepting  no matter what

have you seen my results, or do you just assume things are as you say they are simply because you say it.  That is a very solid mantra to live your life by and I am sure you are a massive success because of it

I want nothing from no one, I simply read a post stating who the best is, and I know it was incorrect, and I wanted the opportunity to prove it.  You can pervert that anyway you choose, but it does not change the reality.

Potentially good advice Seadoo.  I simply heard he was the best on here, so I wanted to beat him.  I stopped doing this for the money a long time ago, and I do it to be the absolute best.  If it were the Wild West in the 1800s, I would have  tracked down the  very 'fastest draw in the west' until I was too old to do it.. it is just who I am

Talk about utter horse s h i t.........you couldn't hold a candle to Soul.  He has earned nearly 3 times more profit than you this MLB season.  You are not the best by a long shot.  You had great success but that wasn't good enough.  You had to flush your reputation down the toilet in attempt to prove something that you are not.  What a shame.

For a few reasons, I rarely venture into the MLB forum, but did so yesterday and actually posted within Soulglo's thread (a post which in hindsight was absurdly inaccurate).

A couple of thoughts on this thread ...
1) you seem to question his bet amounts. Does $500, $1,000, $2,000 seem like a lot to you? Personally, I don't ever post my wager amounts, but for the sake of making a point here, Soulglo's bets are my vigs on a losing NFL bet. While you have the right to doubt anyone's bet amount, don't assume that there aren't people betting significant money on sports ... there are.

2) I've been on this forum longer than most. To be honest, I've never heard of you. Again, I rarely venture into the MLB forum, so perhaps this is why ... which leads me to my next point ...

3) This thread gives the appearance of being nothing more than an attention grab. Kind of looks like you are jealous of another posters popularity, or approval rating amongst the followers. I could be totally wrong, I'm just expressing what it appears to be.

Staley, judging by the comments in here you have obviously had a really good year in baseball. That's good, and I truly hope it continues for you. But as an objective observer, perhaps you should avoid making threads like this in the future ... it honestly does not come off well for you.
