@MrWhatsItToYa
I am not comparing him to other Presidents in the past; I am not comparing the things he did not do. Only comparing him in this instance to Biden and comparing what he did do.
It was more than 'just the economy'. Yes, it was good. But if you were to search for other things that Trump did or improved, they are easy to find online if you cannot recall them. Do not take mine, or anyone else's, word for it -- look it up. If you are sincere and not a hardcore Leftist but more of a middle-of-the-road guy, I think you will see things differently. For example, what if Biden had implemented the things Trump did -- how would you feel. From the judges, economy, energy, NATO, wars, peace deals, immigrants, crime, etc.
You also have to realize how important 'just the economy' is, even if you think that is all. This leads over into folk's future retirement, stability, the country's stability, lower crime, cheaper goods, lower taxes, etc.
You have to sincerely ask what Trump did that made the country worse that would offset the good that happened while he was in office.
This is not to support Trump as much as the Right's policies and agenda as opposed to the Left's.
For sure, the Right would like to have someone besides Trump to elect; they simply do not.
But if you are not okay with the direction Biden is taking the country (and you cannot be unless you are a hardcore Leftist), then you have to reconsider your views on Trump as a person with an outlook for your kids and grandkids and just a better country overall.
No person is perfect morally, etc. So, if it is an election to pick the least morally offensive candidate -- then you will have to accept a weaker candidate a lot of times.
Look at the way Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, JFK, and Clinton, etc. are viewed today. Could they even be elected today with that type of criteria? Etc., etc.
