The public was on the Giants HUGE. Not sure what you think is fishy about it.
Did you watch a differnt game? You really couldnt see that last play as being fishy and the game just happens to end on 44. Please tell me why the rams shouldnt have gone for it on 4th down?
also just because the public is all over a team, that doesnt mean there is more money on the giants. For all any of us know, there could have been more money on the rams.

4th down and 20 on their own 15, in a ONE SCORE GAME..... Different story--they go for it without a question...
4th down and 20 on their own 15, down 12 points, game out of reach, NO POINT IN GOING FOR IT....
I understand the Giants would most likely kneel, but you have to remember TEAMS HAVE PRIDE..... you turn the ball over on your own 15, that opens the door for the Giants to put one more score only adding embarrassment to your team.

this is what (bad) coaches do, instead of doing the right thing and going for it, they preserve the margin so that they are judged in retrospect to have lost closer than they really did.
the Football Gods will punish them and punish them hard. It's the same concept as punting on 4th and short from the opponents field position. Any team that does that during the course of a game will eventually lose the game for being big chickens.
Well you make a good first point about coaches, but you are 100 percent wrong this time. Even if the rams went for it and didnt make it, the margin of the game was still gonna land on 12 because the giants were just gonna take a knee. Rams had no timeouts. So theres no reason for rams not to hurl one more long pass down field.

Exactly - why would the Giants then go for it? Showing you're gonna give up and not going for that smallllll minute chance of winning shows you have NO pride in your team, on the contrary.

PROOF: Rams vs. Giants game just now. It was 4th and 20 and Rams had the ball down big with 1:30 to go in the game. Why the hell would you punt it? Even if you turn it over on downs, the Giants kneel the clock out once they get it back, or they score. You lose for sure if you punt. You still have a chance (although small but still a chance) if you go for it!
Secondly, another point to add ... There were 44 points already with 16+ minutes to play. Not another point - really?
I had O 44 for BIG. I hate pushing on that b.s.
you're crying about the over? If Bradford doesnt make a bonehead lateral pass for a quick nyg 7, then you lose.
If anything, over bettors should be thankful that they pushed. You needed an idiot play like that to push.

are you hitting the crack pipe tonight or is this the first game you have ever watched. With a 1:50 left, you have for sure gotta go for and try to win the game. You dont just give up. If they were down 3 scores, then they punt, not down 2 scores, anything can happen. Quick score, few penalties and an onside kick and you just never know. I have seen way to many crazy endings in games. And your comment about giants trying to score again if they got the ball on the 15, are you insane. they were taking a knee no matter where the ball was.

Exactly, plus the Salas muffed punt which led to a short field and touchdown. And the Rams pathetic defense giving up a score with 22 seconds left before the half on a poorly thrown ball. Yeah, I may have been on the under

With then a possible 15 point lead and kick off which may waste time, you have a way better chance of winning than getting that run play to go down. Why risk 2 scores and STL wins over 2 scores and 1 two-point conversion to tie?

MUCH safer lead to get a 7 and than 8 score to tie than to get a 7 and then 7 to win. The FG there would have pretty much sealed the game for him, given the time. Going for it with an OBVIOUS run call for 1.5 yards is not the correctly executed move.
Of course anything can happen but you re clearly missing my point. They make a first down there the Rams have NO CHANCE. You cannot score if you don t have the ball. Yes you got a little moosed on this play but hardly can you claim the NFL is fixed.

I'm thinking playing BIG on Cliff Lee tomorrow Phillies -125 ... but for some reason, will Cliffster have a say in the fix? He's going for CY Young still, and the Phillies are going for a 100+ season.

Don t get me started on those Philly people. They rolled over on me again tonight being the 3rd piece of a 3 team parlay. There is a law in Philly stating they cannot give Halliday more than 2 or 3 runs of support. Hope they get swept in the 1st round.

and don't even get me started on the phantom PI call.
What about the Rams 8 pts they left off the board not being able to punch it in from within the 3 twice? What about that first INT Eli threw - seriously? What about the multitude of manageable passes Bradford's receivers mysteriously dropped?
Hmmm.

Dima were you on the Falcons last night???? because if you were you need to stop complaining about dropped balls (Maclin). Just saying it happens all the time.
And not for nothing, does anyone remember that San Diego/Pittsburgh game a few years ago when Polamalu had that pick 6 at the end of the game and the refs incorrectly ruled it off the board, then admitted after the game they screwed up and should ve counted it. Only NFL game to end on the score of 12-11. Oh yeah Pitt won but was laying 4. Guess what side I was on?

Halladay gave up 2 runs in the first and more runs than his ERA in 3 innings of play.
I was on the Under BIG and I was lucky to get a win after all the jams I had to get out of and the threat in the bottom of the 9th. Then again, every single fucking run until 4-1 was scored with 2 outs.
