Score was Packers 13 Buccaneers 17 at half-time. The U/O was 34. The Packers only managed 1 field goal the entire second half to make an under cover possible.
It's silly to think this kind of thing is ever rigged. I remember this bet because luckily I was on the right side of it. But, I'm sure there are plenty of other instances where more ridiculous covers have happened.
Actually, I remember one I lost. The worst ever. 2 onside kick attempts were returned for touchdowns after I lost and covered and lost again within the final 2 minutes of a college game (teams escape me).

Was that UCLA vs Northwestern in the Vitalis Sun Bowl on Friday December 30, 2005?
I remember that one. Miracle OVER for my last leg of a 5-team parlay. The payout was only $1700 but being in college, that was HUGE for me. That was like Christmas/New Year combined. I remember jumping up and down as that GOD Basanez made it all possible.

I got it at UNDER 45 buying a half point early Monday morning. Just before game time it had dropped a full point to 43.5. I was shocked to see them punt. Why would you ever punt? The Giants would kneel on the ball wherever they got the ball with 1:35 left and no timeouts for Rams..... so why not go for it? I really have never seen anything like it.....I was happy to see it but shocked nonetheless.
Another really iffy Rams coaching call was them not going for the 2 point conversion when scoring the last TD to make it 28-15. By kicking the extra point to make it 28-16 it virtually ensured the Rams having to go for TD's rather than a TD (plus 2 pt. conv) and a FG to tie. Unbelievably stupid decisions...or something more....

I COMPLETELY forgot about that. They were on the 32 - woulda been a 48 yard FG and put the game to 15 - a way more manageable lead than 12 for the Giants.
People who doubt this was rigged, what we are talking about is the O/U 44 line ONLY. There is as much money on over/unders as there are on spreads or MLs.
Yes, the coaches got a call on their cell phones once the score was 28-16 and both were told to try and keep the ball out of the end zone, lol. I had over 44, also, so I'd love to think that the game was rigged, but the true fact is, no sports are rigged. Anyone that has ever played on any competitive level knows this to be a fact.

Question for the OP is why would they rig it to end on 44? 2/3 of the people bet on the under pregame. Vegas would gain alot of money if there was another score.
Giants were definitely better off going for it on the 4th and short, rather than punting or kicking a fg. Giants have a 65-70% of making a first down and ending the game. This is already better than your chances of making a field goal from that distance. The quickest way for the Rams to score is blocked punt/kick or from the kickoff return. All 3 of these have better odds than Jacobs fumbling. Why would you want to aid this by kicking? All 3 also have a higher distance of return.
I would agree that the Rams should have gone for it on the last 4th down. They didn't have any real reason to not go for it.
As for the Rams not going for 2, it was still the 3rd quarter. And let's say they miss, then 13 points is only a tie rather than 13 points is a win. It is a pretty regular number to get. Then if the Giants make a fg, they're probably done. The difference between 15 and 16 is very large.

I 100% agree, most of you sadly have never played a sports in your life and when you see a bench player in college hoops trying to score a " meaningless" basket a the end of a blowout you all scream "fix"... lol

It's only rigged when you are the one that gets screwed.

giants had 4th and 1. wanted to put the game away by getting the yard.If you know anything bout the giants they have trouble in short yardage situations. As for the rams not going for it ive seen it happen plenty of times in college football. Why take a chance of getting your qb hurt on a 4th and 28. Cmon fools whats their chance of converting that. Its more than quarter of a field to convert the first. Quit crying u pushed a bet boo yoo...

PROOF: Rams vs. Giants game just now. It was 4th and 20 and Rams had the ball down big with 1:30 to go in the game. Why the hell would you punt it? Even if you turn it over on downs, the Giants kneel the clock out once they get it back, or they score. You lose for sure if you punt. You still have a chance (although small but still a chance) if you go for it!
Secondly, another point to add ... There were 44 points already with 16+ minutes to play. Not another point - really?
I had O 44 for BIG. I hate pushing on that b.s.
1) The o/u dropped to 43 1/2.
2) Sharp betting was on the under.
3) You never saw a scoreless 4th + quarter in the NFL ???
4) With all the BS touchdowns , Bobble catch before the half, 65 yd defensive TD...You are lucky you pushed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
