I think Rodgers knew exactly what he was doing by suggesting Kimmel was a pedo. The implication is clear and the intent was clear. From a legal point of view, it is a pretty easy defamation case to say something that inflammatory with absolutely no evidence to support it. Rodgers clearly violated the actual malice standard, which is the bar for public figure defamation suits.
As it turned out, there was zero truth to Rodgers’ statement.
Aaron then tried to lie about it and say he was joking. He also whined about being canceled, while on ESPN mind you, despite having a weekly spot on a TV show.
So now, ironically he is canceled by Pat McAfee of all people. After Fox had to pony up $700 million for defamation, ESPN and other networks have gotta be a little nervous about that topic.
I can tell you two things, first one is a fact, second one is an opinion:
- Rodgers has been running the slowest offense in the NFL for the last 15 years. It is wildly inefficient.
- ayahuasca doesn’t make you smarter. It makes you dumber by lowering your serotonin. Old Aaron isn’t getting any smarter. Seems like he’s angry and doesn’t know why. His anger would be better directed in another direction, away from a microphone. The whole “I’m coming back from torn Achilles bs” was manufactured by him for attention. It’s just lame - just heal up, do your PT and come back. Nobody needs your false narratives Aaaaaaaarrrroonnn
