His "historic angle" and huge play for the day based on ONE thing. That the underdog got beat by almost 50 points in their last game and therefore will come back with "effort". WOW! and 94 people reply to this. Really?
How about this for the expected effort "angle". Blazers coming of huge road win at Boston. Back home on 3 days rest, fighting for playoff lives and celebrating their 1977 Championship. Think they'll show some effort? In Prime Time game no less. yeah I do. How about coaching effort. You think Luke wants to ruin dad's big night? Doesn't matter because he doesn't have the team to do it
Lets start with the fact that the Lakers literally DO NOT have a point guard on their roster right now. None. Against one of the best guard tandems in the league in Portland. We need a bigger word than mismatch.
How about the fact that the Lakers have not beat Portland in their last 10 tries. Does that factor into the "analysis"
What about the league's 8th best offense at home against the league's worst defense. Ingram and Young are going to guard Lillard and CJ on the outside?
I am just writing this because I had a post that questioned the great Scalabrine deleted. The only bigger joke than that is that 94 people replied to his junk "analysis". I think I'll keep doing what I'm doing and continue to check into this forum to see what the most popular pick is then fade fade fade. All this is good for. Bunch of clowns here. 94 response. Lakers may get hot and knock down a bunch of threes. That's the only way they cover this. If that happens fine. But I'll be rooting extra hard for Portland tonight to not just win but destroy LA and but a certain clown and his picks to sleep
