Hockey now is +$$$ but you won't see any updates from Coldsore now that it is a winning thread.... I give him all the credit, he really lit a fire under my @ss to be better
As for football... the difference between you and I is that in the aftermath of a bad pick/day I go back and say what actually happened and that I messed up. You make a list of excuses then argue with everyone.
Everyone handles losing a different way... but whining and crying about it is not acceptable and it says a lot about a person.
Awesome. You are now up $105 in hockey.
That should make up for the - $2260 you lost in in that timeframe with an 8-20 record.
Plus....... the $1528 you lost in Pucks last year.
Plus....... the $807 you lost in Hoops last year.
Plus.......the $1028 you lost in baseball this year.
Plus.....MMA , HORSERACING , GOLF...and whatever else you bet and lost on.
YUP...... up $105 in Pucks sounds pretty sweet.

You locked in ND thinking they would have been in the mix for the BCS...now that is no longer the case...of course i wouldnt take Stanford here, but this game would never be one id consider...not my style to look ahead and lock in without knowing health of key players...what happens if Winbush gets killed the week prior? You are just a lottery ticket purchaser in this thread....and thats ok buddy...its your style go with it....so what if you lose 50 bucks plus juice on 65% of your wagers...its your money not mine...but if youre honest with yourself, you would definitely buy out of the ND pick now if this was possible, as ND is out of contention for BCS, and no sharp would want to back a short road dog in a meaningless game other than pride.
Purdue/Indiana...might as well flip coins and hope for the best....you aint capping this game months in advance with any angles other than your love for saying the word Boilermaker...maybe youre a huge Drew Brees fan from his college days and are stubborn to keep betting them year after year, like you think you have some sort of edge because you "watch their games"....dont you also watch your FCS games? Didnt you go O-fer in this thread with all that trash football?
So i suppose you can....you can....you can.....keep posting sub 40% capping here...only on covers folks, you simply cant make this stuff up.
People's Champ - I asked him that same question like 3 weeks and 50 pages of this thread ago - of course, there was no reply. If you're claiming to be an "expert" with a "Decade Of Dominance", how can you possibly properly "cap" one particular game that's like 2 months away? ESPECIALLY football where guys get hurt, arrested, coaching changes, etc. prior to that date? It's LITERALLY flip a coin time. Maybe the line moves, maybe it doesn't. But if you're a "sharp" gambler, playing with real money, you're not chancing that.....
Just look at UCLA/USC, for instance. Currently it's USC -16, and rightly so. But a month or so ago, this game would've been close to a pick 'em or even UCLA slightly favored. Scal's "look ahead line" is for suckers. Free money for the books before the game even starts.
Texan Gambler and his "Money Management" system laughs at Scal.....

Hugh putting percentages for 8 years with W L records without a SINGLE THREAD of any win or loss is proof?? AGAIN not a single thread was bumped! Not ONE. LOL
Holy smokes are you stupid!!!
You know very well that all the old threads are gone, so no one here could possibly bump one.
And you use that as proof that you are not the terrible capper that The Peoples Champ and myself proved you were???
Folks, ya can't make this up

A guy who doesn’t gamble anymore coming to Covers in like a recovering alcoholic who goes to the bar every weekend and just hangs out. BB also comes to the PB no less, lol. As Scal would say “talk about a digital rim job”.
If I remember right you also got beat a few years ago in the PB in a capping challenge as well Scal.

No, I never got involved in a capping contest. It would cloud my already clouded judgment. Anger, revenge, hate, trying to prove something to someone are not a gambler's friend.

BB I was talking about Scal when he got beat in a capping challenge a couple years ago here in the PB.
BB serious question what the helll are you even visiting Covers for? This place will get the itch back.
Last year, I visited a few times after I had quit gambling and I got sucked back in for a few months. I guess I was testing myself, and I failed (on several counts). Let's put is this way, even though I won 65% of my bets, I lost a couple of grand because I did not have the stomach for it (made bad decisions, poor money management, self-sabotage, you name it). I was like shot fighter who has taken too many hits and has nothing left. Once I realized it, it was much easier to give the whole thing up.

@BB do the Warriors cover with no Curry tonight? Line and total has crashed. I’ve ridden GS four games in a row probably just ride this streak out.
I am sure others will step up as this team is loaded but it's a bit of a lookahead spot, no? I think the next game is against the Celtics. I am sure that has something to do with Curry sitting out. I guess if it loses you can always double down when they play the C's in Boston. I like them in that game.

If the team total keeps dropping then the over should be a banger.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

BWS not judging you or trying to make you look bad but are those numbers above correct? If you don’t answer the question that’s fine because it would stay with the theme of this thread. Again not trying to shame you in any way.

^^ I notice Coldsnap (Scal's bu#-slam buddy BTW) who seems to be the resident lurker/recordkeeper/etc. has down-to-the-penny records on BWS, but hasn't discredited the People's Champ or Hugh's posted numbers referring to Scal's - let's say - sub-par "Decade Of Dominance".....
As "Wolfgang The N@zi" from Laugh-In would say:

Verrrry Interesting.....

Coldsnap my man, you are rolling a 300 game with these posts. Steeeeeerike!
BB,
You were the only capper who I ever met who undeniably embraced the psychological angle from the get go.
The genesis of the revenge angle begins is rooted in the consideration of human psychology and is one of the most dependable angles of all time, particularly before the advancement of programming in the modern era.
What is so confounding is some great cappers here GO OUT OF THEIR WAY, to explicitly REJECT psychological capping as though it's some child's play game.
Example:
The Claw is a poster here. Very sophisticated metric based analysis. Very detailed.
So when Rondo went down in the Bulls Celtics series he went out of his way to dismiss it. "My numbers say it's irrelevant".
I was absolutely blown away. And he paid no mind to Thomas' sister.
As though both of these have no real on the court impact.
Just dismissed them. But not only dismissed them, he went out of his way to make a declaration about it!
It's like they WANT to openly deride an angle because they are metric-based cappers only and will not explore quantifying the purportedly unquantifiable.
I see poker players do this all the time when it comes to nonverbal tells. They abandon everything for hand ranges and implied odds and never even look at the opponent.
And it costs them dearly!
