Re: middling, i would think if both games are offered they are both legitimate picks. Within the rules set out at contest start.
Ooooooooof course you do....
Let me ask you this, you think Hugh Madoff would be in favor of middling with a cap of 20 picks is the rolls were reversed, that is, he was 6-5 and I was 7-4? Hell no. He’d be going after ever win he could get for a reason: the middling is to take advantage of a lead with knowledge of the other person’s record and thand fact there are only 20 plays.
I’m glad I said a push was no pick (something I though everyone here would more than reasonably understand) but nooooooooo! Dan and Gimmee wanted my pushes to count (which would mean it was a loss since the most wins determines the contest).
Hey guys I’ve been around the block more than a couple times. Don’t try playing these games with me. Playing stupid. Playing “Oh well it’s not in the rules therefore it’s all legal!”
Yeah sure.

Jerome cannot be reached at the moment...he just lost 80 units last night on Atlanta and the Over...his wager was so bad it actually brought out a rare post from Mr Bator with some well needed life saving advice
Wow. A Bator sighting and more surprising a Bator ribbing postgame!

I’m a bit light-headed at the moment having someone who was on his way to an 0-4 day, only to “pinball wizard” his way to a miracle push and then on top of that, guarantee himself a win with zero effort.
Please keep your eye on Hugh Madoff.
He’s capable of literally anything now. Watch the lines and juice and mimicry and middling.
And god only knows what else he’ll come up with.
Keep your eyes peeled...please. For the love of god please. Nothing can be ruled out at this point is in terms of his 3 Card Monte capping schemes.
Jesus Christ you really are a whiny phuck, no grown man who bets real money could possibly care this much about this shitt contest. You won't leave if you lose anyway so who cares. Also he didn't middle the game, he split so who cares, you afraid of a 50% capper? If you had any faith in yourself you would hope he tries to hit middles.

So chaloots since you didn’t read the thread (none of you bozos ever do):
If you were 9-11, all picked out, and I was 9-9 and my next 2 picks were
BYU-14 over ECU
And
ECU +18 over BYU
You’d be ok with that?
Effectively ending the contest without making two individual picks...all because you knew what the other person’s record was and manipulated the plays in your favor.
And if you say you are ok with it, run far away....you are a fraud as much as Hugh.
Yeah a .500 capper is a big problem there.

I would think he is a punk for doing that in the situation you provided but it would also be considered a smart strategy by the person, kinda like running the clock at the end of a game. Would you have felt differently if his initial pick was New Orleans and then added GB who was the loser? I bet you would, you are just pissed that he added the winner instead of adding the loser. At the time of the bet, I wouldn't have minded if I was in your shoes, i would think that I could beat a 50% capper and would hope he tried to middle games all the time.

If both end with 12 wins and one has a push, then the winner is...?
Give me a sec, I'm honing my 2H....
The player with the PUSH
btw if one wants to give up a pick by middling, let him - it's more than likely gonna result in 1 WIN and 1 LOSS. Just realised how much 'NO CONFIDENCE' you have in yourself.

He picked GB first. That’s it. I watched the game and saw it as a loser. He almost got two wins out of it. I didn’t come back to the thread. I actually loved the GB pick because I thought the line was too light even with12 pt move! Don’t take his duplicity and use it to accuse me of Shi* like if he picked NO first I’d want Gb too after! That’s not what he did.
I ALREADY SAID COUNT IT ALL AND MOVE FORWARD.
What proof do you need.
Smart strategy. lol ok. Yeah when it’s Hugh it’s...smart. Fuc king frauds.
Running a clock down is part of the game. That is why 40 seconds per play and 24 seconds per play aim thhe NBA were instituted.
Because teams would just hold the ball forever.
It’s NOT A 50% capper in a race to 20 when he’s in the lead!!! How many times do I have to say this and examples do I have to give to explain this!!

I can’t believe the enablers on this site in Chaloots complimenting an example that is easily countered:
1) Not only does the OP say the most WINS, wins the contest (proving his Push example wrong on the first account) as 12 wins vs. 12 wins with a push results in a tie.
But also,
2) If someone is 12-8 and I’m 11-8 and I PUSH the final game, that game for this contest count as a LOSS as 12-8 beats 11-8-1. Why should a push count as a loss when you didn’t lose the last game?
That is why I put in the rule.
Is it THAT hard to understand?? I think it is. It really is.
Again, PLEASE EXPECT MORE FROM YOURSELVES. Your standards are quite low both personal and capping!

I can't believe you guys are still talking about this sh*t. Move on. Make picks. Two pages of arguing over middling picks and not one post with updated records. By my calculations, isn't Scal in the lead now?

Hard to imagine a push counting against you... Push has always been a no contest... no harm - no foul, like it never happened
Not in Troll World TideMan.
Not in Troll World.
In that World, a push DOES count against every first-class capper who’s provided a decade + 1 of dominating write-ups (were you on my 52-7 Memphis over SMU play of the year last year? I hope so!) but NOT for the slithery heathens of the Pbox underworld of Capping Sodomites.
See how that works?

2) had the line on the GB/NO game stayed at 6, I would not have taken NO. That would have been lame. The line went from 6 down to 3.5, coupled with my not caring for GB as much as I did earlier in the week presented a legitimate, intelligent opportunity. I took it. Stop whining about it, you look pathetic. As a few others in here have already stated, less and more capping would serve you well
3) update the records
4) please don't say this is a "2 on 1" contest. It is stupid and inaccurate.
You have 2 separate wagers going, 1 vs me, and 1 vs Packers
5) you still suck
