Why don't he just shut the fuck up. Now he's gone to the racist "Fried Chicken" statement, didn't he learn anything from Fuzzy Zeller? By the way, has anyone heard anything of Fuzzy since his "Fried Chicken" statement? Sergio later apologized for his statement, which we all know someone in his camp had him do it, because they didn't want him to come off as being racist. I hope they pair them together in the US Open. It's well known that you don't wake a sleeping giant, don't pull on superman's cape, and you never ever fuck with Tiger.

How is what he said racist?? It wasn't a funny comment but it certainly wasn't racist for pete sake. If he had an argument with an Indian fella and he said something about curry or if an Indian bloke had an argument with Sergio and said something regarding I would have to serve Sergio paella, Would anyone deem that as racist??
Why has society become so pc, Do Black people like eating fried chicken?? Yes, It's not like fried chicken is a bad thing that being accused of eating it means you are a lower class, Jesus Christ what has happened to us.
However it was not a funny comment nor did it needed to be said by Sergio BUT it certainly was not racist.

It's racist in the U.S. to say that even though I don't think it should be. There are more whites that eat fried chicken than blacks, just like there are more whites on welfare (or some I am told). I'm not on welfare but I do like fried chicken.
There are too many words/phrases on the racist list. We have to narrow that list down some.
Sergio Garcia is from Spain. Spain didn't have slaves. Or do all caucasoids have to pay for a few plantation owners?

If you don't think this is racist, then why did he reference "fried chicken?" Why not roasted asparagus? Or a chef salad? Or hummus?
Maybe because he thought what do Black people in America mostly like to eat? Hmm Fried Chicken, So I will say that. It was a stereotypical answer but in no way can it be viewed racist, How can it be viewed racist when you could make a similar remark about a Asian or Latin person or an Asian or Latin person make the remark towards White people and have people laugh along with it? The only reason it's viewed as a racist comment is because the race in discussion here are the touchy feely types, We all know why.

So Scal accuses me of never being able to call someone a racist and now you accuse me of being overly sensitive.
Only on covers.

He's a minority in America and it's the American press that's making this a big deal. He's no different from a Mexican or South American, so if they're minorities in the states, so is he.

So are you saying that a minority can't be racist against another minority?

Since you want to throw falsehoods around, Sergio Garcia is from Spain but NOT HISPANIC.
The racial classification typical of people born in Spain, specifically of Sergio, who are now US citizens is "NON Hispanic White" on the census.
The confusion arises because almost all hispanic people speak spanish, but the Spanish themselves, are not necessarily Hispanic.
Blame colonization if you have a problem with it and use google for something other than porn before you pretend to know what you are talking about.

Fuzzy Zoeller made a similar comment about Tiger Woods back in the late 90's after Tiger won the Masters, Mr. Zoeller apologized afterward.
Sergio Garcia is a joke himself, dude has a bad mouth and one time he spitted into a tin cup on a green of a tournament.
