Looks like Finnegan started it with the hands to the face.  I think he should only be fined.  He was ejected from the game and given AJ's history of not being a hothead I again think it would be unjust to suspend him.

Yeah rite . . Finnegan started that mess. when u put your hands up in another mans grill under there helments doesnt matter when/ where u hittem!!!!! Johnson did what anyone would have done!! Finngan just didnt keep his balance. Its probably better he did go down. 6'5 johnson woulda WHOOPED his ass!!

How can he just get a fine? They are fining people for illegal hits...he threw a punch at a helmetless player.....

I thought that if you punch someone in the head without a helmet on that was an automatic suspension, not to mention he ripped it off of his head.

I hate the "finegans" a dirty player talk. He is a fighter.. a competitor.. he is a guy I want on my team becasue I know he is going all out every single play. Its football boys, its supposed to be a physical game. Yea he got his hands up in his face... but thats why the refs are on the field, penalty-next play... Finegans a stud.

I think you're correct. But in a 16 game schedule I can't imagine anything more than a 1 game suspension for each player.
