I get tired of people saying you can't make any money blindly tailing people. I have been gambling for over 30 years, I have tried to make my own picks and I can't do it. I lost money. Now I do nothing but tail certain people, not only on this forum but other forums too. I do not come out ahead every year but, I have definitely won more money since I have been tailing certain people than I have lost. I can't cap games, but I can cap cappers. So, if you are betting do not let anybody tell you that you can't make money tailing cappers. If you put in the time and watch the right cappers you can make money. The biggest key is to use money management.  Just had to get that off of my shoulders.  Now those who want blast away at me.

You make good points.

Same time the guy pretty much guarantees that his bet slips are going to hit. Then he is bragging about how rich he is and how much money he is betting ... So then people are betting their hard earned money following him and trusting him - What do you expect them to do when he loses? Be happy about it?

Sure they need to take some responsibility but so does he. Costing people money due to cockiness is not cool and he should be called out on it.

They won't benefit from the winners when they come because they didn't exercise the discipline it takes to be successful when SB LOSES...as rare as it is...if you employ the "ALL IN" wagering method...well, it works UNTIL IT DOESN'T and when it DOESN'T it puts you OUT OF THE GAME... DON'T BE THE BAD BANKROLL MANAGEMENT TROLL GUY...

I disagree. If you are good at it it's a great way to make money whether you need it or not.

Point is StraightBets cockiness cost people a lot of money yesterday.. Hopefully HE learns from that and doesn't do it again..

You literally cannot read one of SBs threads without finding me or someone clearly posting the two main keys of not going broke in sports investing...but what you are describing is a GAMBLER...

IF you are a GAMBLER...none of this applies to you...by definition a GAMBLER = BROKE...it's just the way it is and it's the way a GAMBLER wants it to be...

You see...if a GAMBLER gets tired of being broke...of following the HYPE...of making repeated BAD DECISIONS...he eventually quits completely (probably the best) OR....turns into a sports investor...

It sometimes takes years and thousands upon thousands of unremembered dollars to get to this decision point...but it will happen because there is only so much money...every single GAMBLER on the face of the earth will face this decision at some point..

 

QUIT...OR ..CONVERT TO A SPORTS INVESTOR...

There is no such thing as a garuntee, if you do not understand that, and if you do not understand any single bet can always lose, and if you cannot accept that downside risk, just stop...

I'm not sure how people can get pissed. You can only get pissed by not getting what you want. There's a simple answer, Tail or Fade. But, people don't want to fade when they see people winning. They want to try and make things their way. The capper is going to post how he wants. Simply Tail or Fade. It doesn't get any more simpler than that.
