Same as everyday. Sammy Sunshine with a chance of sorrow... You have some interesting analysis Sammy - in less than one day you can tear even a YEAR's worth of winnings to shreds. I'm really surprised you would lay down this much at the end of the season. Sometimes it takes life experiences to correct past mistakes. I'd be REALLY CAREFUL if you are thinking about playing the next 3 days in the NBA. Even if you think you have all the info, the books always have more.
You shoulda waited until this weekend to come to Vegas for the playoffs - that way I could get to know the REAL SAMMY.
Have fun the rest of your time in Vegas, try to enjoy some time away from the casinos and gambling to get your mind right.

Good Morning guys, this night was surely a unforgettable evening. I was up all night tossing and turning with despair, to lose a big 10k wager by a single point is mind boggling, and it makes my heart almost feel half hallow. I made a mistake last night saying I lost 16,100. it was actually 14,100. I was down 4,100, before the 10k bet, either way it was way too much to lose. I am staying here in Vegas till the lines come out for tonights game, and betting the Oklahoma City Thunder-Portland Trailblazers game. At least I know these two teams will want to win and go all out to get a better seeding. I am then driving back home to LA, and relaxing and watch my Phillies play their home opener on TV. I have taken money out of my bank account and as you all might say I am chasing, but in my heart I can not leave Vegas with this feeling inside of me. I am betting this game for 25,000. I am taking a huge chance but I have been up all night going over numbers and alterations on these 2 teams, they both played last night, Portland took care of the Lakers and the Thunder got shocked by the ever apparent home town Warriors. I haven't finished capping the game so I need to lay all my brain cells on this game, and then when the line comes out, I will pounce on it, my buddy told me where to place my bets, and yes some sports books have a bet maximum, I already have that part taken care of, we found a spot that will take 10k and myself and my friend will put the other 15k though 3 other sports books, and yes they make you fill out paper work. OK guys I guess tonight will either make or brake my bankroll, see you on my new thread, when my play is done and when the lines comes out. Sammy will prevail tonight, I am too unorthodox to be out foxed on this game, you give yours truly a full night to cap a game,and I am as good as copper.

That happened to me last Monday (Butler ML +375). And again on Tuesday (Stanford women 2nd half +12.5). And again on Wednesday (lackadaisical Pacers -9). I think I may be the King of the 10K one-point losing wager. I had no action on the Rockets last night, sammy, but I can imagine that if you'd really had $11,000 on them, that would have hurt like hell.

Sammy, when you win your alleged 10K wagers, you count it as a $10,000 win. And when you lose your alleged 10K wagers, you count it as a $10,000 loss. That's confusing. Can you explain how you evidently avoid the evil bookmaker's vigorish?

I was going to express concern that you'd probably miss most if not all of the Phillies home opener if you left Vegas shortly after 9 A.M., seeing as how the Phils play at noon. But then I remembered the ease and convenience with which you "travel" from one city to the next and realized that you'd "get back home to L.A." with plenty of time to spare.
And with lots of Covers posting in between!

The feeling will be twelve times worse if the massive 25K chase bet goes down. What will you do then? I'm nothing if not a gracious host. If you'd like, I'd be happy to escort you to the outdoor observation deck of the Stratosphere Tower and give you a boost over the chain link fence.
