Line is already down to a pick em. Me getting the worse line possible is generally the story of my life. Plain and simple, Cowboys are a superior team to the Rams. Stopping the Rams' running game will be an issue for Dallas, but I believe Romo and co. will put up enough points to win this game by 7+. Rams don't have the offense to reach the 20's, Dallas should be able to accomplish that in the dome. I think Dallas wins and covers. 24-13.
Saints -10
Saints off of two bad losses. The Vikings are a poor football team. Solid defense, but their offense is embarrassing. No matter how good of a defense a team has, coming into NO is a totally different story. I think we see the Saints put up 30+. Minny has one playmaker on offense..shouldn't be enough to keep up with Brees and co. I think the Saints win and cover. 35-17.

We should get a soccer discussion going every now and then? As long as nothing has changed, I believe you bet it. Over the past 2 years, it has become a passion of mine. From playing in leagues, to making wagers on the England Conference league, I fell in love with the sport. We should get a weekly discussion going..kind of like a warm up for the weekend matches.

Not here to criticize your pick but can you explain how Dallas is a superior team to the Rams or to any other NFL team for that matter other than the fact that you are a Cowboy fan? Cowboys will have one of the worst defenses in the league by years end. I had the last week because of the overreaction to their week won loss by the public and books, they beat a not so good Titan's team easily and now everyone is overreacting the opposite way thinking Dallas is a good team, they are not superior to anyone in the NFL and are below average all around. I will be on the Rams at home. GL

if cake doesn't respond to you, we'll have to assume he got injured in the most recent war of english independence from scotland.
My mum is Scittish (Campbell clan) and my father is English, so there has been an on going struggle in my family. Forget about that other nonsense. Scotland is like a distant cousin - sorry mum.

No worries man. Life long Cowboys fan...rarely bet on their games..and it has been a miserable time period of my life supporting them.
What I've noticed over the years..or at least I think I have...is Dallas is a terrible team to bet on when they are a big favorite or there is a lot of hype surrounding the team. They'll usually lose those games outright, or just not cover the spread. When things tend to go quiet around Dallas, or the spread is a lot tighter..even if Dallas is a dog...Dallas tends to outperform. No statistics to back it up..just what I am going with from what I have seen/experienced.
In my honest opinion, the St. Louis Rams are a bad football team. Jeff Fisher is a very good coach, and gets more out of this team than most coaches would. Solid defense, with a very poor offense. No qb...and Stacy is good on the ground, but I believe they will need more than that to keep up with Dallas.
Dallas has a good offensive line which is only getting better. The running game has lots of promise. Romo can still chuck it, and Dallas has plenty of weapons. The defense is suspect, but they do get Orland Scandrick back this weekend, which is a big plus.
I just see the Rams needing to play a perfect game this weekend in order to win. They'll have to control the ground game and win a low scoring game..something like 13-10 or 17-14. I don't think Dallas lets them do it. As long a Romo limits his mistakes and the offensive line plays well, Dallas should put up points and St. Louis won't be able to keep up.

Glad you didn't take offense to what I was trying to say. I agree with a lot of your points, I just feel that this is a good spot for the Rams coming home feeling good after a last minute win(even if it was against an apparently horrible TB team) and getting Dallas off of a dominating road win. Thanks for the valid response and not typical covers type of shiity response. Glad there are still some folks here that talk sports. GL on your plays

My only questions here is...you say that this is a good spot for the Rams because they are coming home feeling good after a last minute win. Shouldn't Dallas feel pretty good as well...coming off a big win on the road while playing much improved football?
I think we see how good this Rams defense really is this weekend. If they can hold Dallas under 14 points on Sunday, they will have impressed me and that should = a cover for them. With that being said, this is the best offensive line the Cowboys have had in years...people are sort of discounting that. If they can continue to get the running game going, this offense should be extremely efficient all season long.
Not to mention, Orlando Scandrick coming back is a big boost for this mediocre defense.

Yes Dallas should feel good about their win last week and so should the Rams coming back late in the 4th qtr with a 3rd string QB starting the game. Did Dallas really play much improved football because they got it right or did they play a much lesser opponent than they did in week 1 is the question that I guess will get answered this week. Don't get me wrong, when Dallas offense is clicking they can put up points against anyone but their defense couldn't stop a nose bleed. They dominated the Titans and ran the ball down their throat for 220 yards, I don't think that will happen against the Rams. It is hard to win road games in the NFL.

The Cowboys are getting a little bit better......They just need to keep Romo healthy so he can make some completions....I will keep my eyes on the Total

On paper, looks like an easier under. I think we get a little bit of a surprise tomorrow. Expecting a more open game with goals. Good chance for both teams to pick up 3 points, so I believe we see each team play a bit more aggressive and confident. I'll probably play every over in the EPL when the total is 2 this season. Too many talented players..games are usually open. I think we see a 2-1 final, QPR victory.
