I agree. Yao is being a bit of a Debbie Downer. As for me, all I can think about is the prize. All expenses paid to Germantown, open bar at Pickle Pub, and accommodations on the coziest sofa in Maryland. Game time snacks are available by flipping over the seat cushions.

 Nothing comes close to it, imo. The Wire is the most complex series ever made, given all the topics it covers and the manner it does it, and I don't think there is a more quotable series out there. I always come back to this, from time to time:

This should be fun. Getting to B-More would be a hell of a road trip although leaving Canada is not recommended at this time! LOL. Plus after watching those 100 Wire quotes it surprises me that anyone would want to live there.

in a way yes...different, great writing , you could make that case.....to me the difference is simon used the fact he was a newspaper writer in b'more along with hiring actors and writers who were real cops/drug dealers in real life in 'bmore to make it so authentic, from the words and  phrases   used to the names to the street names and landmarks.....it all rang true as hell because it was written and acted by real life everyday people who lived that life in b'more...
