    @DeezyAZ81

Correct. I'm guessing 90%+ of the nfl employees are vaxxed....we didn't hear much about players refusing vaxx except from few big names..

We don't know the exact numbers but they would be well above majority....

The nfl also mandated it if I'm not mistaken. So they either vaxxed or got a fake card

Maybe the nfl is an outlier here. Possible

You? Where is your data? You have the report from the Bills on who is vaxxed and who is not? You are simply throwing out make believe numbers at this point. You are making a guess to try to suit your narrative. I'll wait for the real report, not covers conjecture.

    Its kinda like a bet....

I'm betting its more likely he is vaxxed than unvaxxed ....could 100% be wrong....no one wins every bet

Yes. I am very aware of how this bunch justifies their narratives. They have no other cases in American pro sports to support this vaccine $hit, yet they keep pushing. Then just make random percentages up with no evidence or data to support their positions. Crazy really. an_light

    Here's the nfl exact numbers

"Nearly 95% of NFL players are vaccinated; nearly 100% of NFL personnel are vaccinated. With such a highly vaccinated population, the NFL environment is not comparable to anywhere else in society."

    • 94.6% of NFL players are vaccinated; nearly 100% of NFL personnel are vaccinated.
    • With such a highly vaccinated population, the NFL environment is not comparable to anywhere else in society. We will continue to work with the NFLPA with the goal of having 100% of players vaccinated.
    • 30 of the league’s 32 clubs have an overall vaccination rate of 95% or higher

Cool. So you are admitting that you made the 98% number up?

What is the data on reported heart attacks from current vaccinated athletes in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL?

What do those numbers show??? Hmmm.

Let's say the 95% vaccination rate in the NFL is correct and that Hamlin is vaccinated. You think 1 heart attack out of a 95% vaccination rate over the last 3-4 years shows a strong correlation. If so, you are not very good at determining scientific correlations. an_light

.....thats where u go wrong on the numbers

You don't make the data base out of just nfl athletes and the vax isn't quite 3-4 yet.....

I'll have to go find the numbers but thought I saw some CDC info saying heart issues every 200-300k vaccinated . I gotta go find that

    And if there are say 1 billion people vaxxed...have to check that...then 1 every 200-300k isn't a tiny amount...even 1 every 2-3million is still 33ish per 100million

Also the nfl player pool is a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny sample size in the vaccine data pool....how many players in league ??call it 100 per team to be generous with practice squads and signings...call it 150 to be safe if u want

100x32= 3200....1 of 95% is scary compared to the cdc numbers if that's the case

I'll go find cdc numbers....the numbers are also worse in the age 2 middle aged groups

The most likely scenario is #1 or #2

    1-He isn't even vaxxed

2- he's vaxxed but it has nothing to do with vaxx

    But could be 3, 4, 5  or 6

None of us have any idea right now as  happened less than 24 hours ago....

but there are only 'x' amount of possibilities, all with a certain probability...

I am not wrong. I am speaking just about professional athletes as I indicated. How many proven vaccinated athlete heart attacks occurred over the last 2-3 years in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL? that was my question. You know there has been zero, which is why you are trying to expand the target population to fit your narrative.

Your argument is tired and not backed by any scientific evidence or data. Keep moving the goal post though until you find a narrative that fits. an_light

Jesus christ i was going easy on ya....

CDC 40.6 cases of myocarditis reported per million people after 2nd dose...so over 10 per 300k...I was way way way low

5.51 billion people  vaxxed world wide....so my number was 5.5 times generous to you....

And the numbers are worse in the middle aged groups

    @DeezyAZ81

Interesting take. I guess you could classify athletes as superior beings with superior systems.

Im not sure having the title of professional athlete removes them from the conversation...but could debate that for sure...there are lots of extremely fit people that are not professional athletes....

I'm not moving any goal posts. Those are the factual numbers from the horses mouth (CDC website)

If we wanna debate athletes susceptibility to virus vs others sure...

Again the pool of nfl players is only a pool of 3200 ish players...the numbers state they most likely won't have a case...but it isn't impossible

"You think 1 heart attack out of a 95% vaccination rate"

That would be a potential alarm bell for sure...if they already have 1 heart attack out of 3200-4000 players...

Probably wasn't related to the vaxx like I covered in #1 and #2, but you can't  shut the door to the other possibilities for certain, too early.

I guess the unknown is did we just witness the first one? None of us know.

not sure if family or nfl will release medical details.

And just because there have been 0 to date, that  means 1 can't happen?

    Interesting topic for sure

The coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has affected athlete deaths, but the exact numbers are unknown at this time due to co-morbidity factors.

It’s known that getting COVID-19 increases the risk of developing myocarditis. This condition can lead to heart attack as well as add inflammation to the body, which could increase any preexisting issues.

Myocarditis is a leading cause of sudden cardiac death in young athletes.

A 2021 observational study involving 1,597 athletes who had COVID-19 found that 37 of them (2.3%Trusted Source) had diagnosable myocarditis and possible myocarditis.

A 2022 study found this rate to be higher — 4%Trusted Source — for athletes who underwent cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) testing.

    @BigGame90

That article is regarding myocarditis from  getting covid. Not from the vaccine. But the vaccine has also been proven to cause myocarditis and you are told to monitor for 2 weeks after the vaxx for symptoms. They say males and females in the 18-39 age group are most susceptible and specifically mention males.

Yeah what is everyone talking about?? Isn't everyone an expert on Commotio cordis you know the thing that nobody ever heard of until now when they need to spin a narrative.  Commotio corodis it's so normal it happens all the time on routine hits to the ChEsT you'd have to be a ConsPiracy tHerorist to question that. If you say it's not normal for 24 year old pro athletes to have heart attacks you're obviously a QANON whacko

Liberals are the anti-vaxxers. Always have been and always will be. You can try and spin people’s hesitancy toward getting a Covid shot as anti-vax and be derogatory because well….it’s what you people do. I was in college 15 years ago and one of my two majors was political science. Many classes had contentious debates. Liberals overwhelmingly were anti big pharma and big oil. Surprising how one of those changed completely in such short time. There were a few anti-vaccine people over the course of all of those classes. Every one of them was on the extreme left. You can try and put labels on people as a form of projection but don’t forget where your political philosophy is rooted. I laugh when libs try to put the anti-vax label on conservatives. You’re just pissed that you fell for a bill of goods that wasn’t what it was sold as and that many people resisted that and now you’re sensitive as hell over it. Have a good day.

Precisely. Not sure why one would limit their thought process to one or 2 possibilities and then deny everything else as wrong.....especially when the experts they trust (CDC) are telling them that myocarditis can occur from receiving the vaxx....mind boggling

"It’s not knuckle-dragging to ask that we investigate the contributing factors to what just happened. I’d argue that the knuckle draggers are the ones who don’t want to entertain the possibility, under any circumstance, that the vax contributed to this."

Precisely. Not sure why one would limit their thought process to one or 2 possibilities and then deny everything else as wrong.....especially when the experts they trust (CDC) are telling them that myocarditis can occur from receiving the vaxx....mind boggling
