I have to work today. For those of you who don't know, I deliver beer. It's -9 right now, and the news channels are kind enough to put "feels like -32" on the screen.

Most companies shit down operations today, including garbage pickup. But beer needs to go out? 

The mechanics who service our trucks will also be unavailable. 

Our management isn't the brightest.

Sometimes I think the CD News thread is the only thread on covers.  I ventured into the mains yesterday for like 10 minutes and stumbled upon a genius trying to tell people to place multiple wagers using the same teaser side.  Like Jags/Jets over 29.5.....but use it 5/6 times with a different 2nd leg on each one, and he would refer to that leg as "The Anchor" leg

Then he told people in a youtube video to use the Bills like 8 times.  EIGHT DIFFERENT TEASES with the same leg on it.  The Bills were, yes, you guessed it, "The Anchor" .....I politely told him these are essentially the same plays, and he should be careful telling impressionable bettors to do this, especially with teaser juice, but he insisted these "looked the best".  

Then last night the jets and jags did not go over, so he lost a bunch of bets and somehow got banned. Sadly I know somewhere in the country, in at least 10 different basements, there were people yesterday that lost all those same bets because of the record the guy touted. 

This is why I stay in the CD News thread and even missed these Getty bets, it is the only place for somewhat rational thought.  

Getty we both hammered those Jags, nice hit.  Sometimes (more often than not) in betting, it is smarter to not be so cute and just do the obvious thing.  I almost feel like I cheated last night betting the Jags.  But then I think back to losses like Raiders ML Parlay on thursday night from that Baker Mayfield game and stop feeling guilty.
