As much as I love Canada and Canadians, I have to mention this. Canada does not have a single team in these playoffs....again! When was the last time a Canadian team won the Cup? 23 years and counting or something?
Without the USA, there wouldn't be an NHL. The NHL is the weakest out of the Big 4 leagues in this country. NFL, MLB and NBA are different. Most kids in this country grow up playing these sports so they're more people.
There's a small fraction like guys like myself and brothers that grew up playing this wonderful game. How many Americans do you know that learned how to ice skate at 3/4 years old like myself? Not too many. But it's commonplace to our northern neighbors.
On a side note, we collectively have the best goaltending in the world right now. Will take Quick, Schneider, Bishop and Miller against any of your Canadians.
