What&#x27;s the payoff in being a hater, trolling someone, and assuming someone is posting fake numbers? D1 gets a lot of sh#t on this site. Gumpert gets even more but if one thinks the numbers they post are astronomical and out of the realm of a covers member then it says more about your bankroll than theirs. Neither of them gloats, or tries to say, "I&#x27;m so great. I&#x27;m so rich. Blah, blah, blah." D1 just respectfully posts his picks. Gumpert is downright self-deprecating. Definitely not a guy looking to inflate his ego. Granted, there are people out of touch with reality in any internet forum. It&#x27;s the internet. I just don&#x27;t get why these guys catch so much flack solely based on their claimed wager amounts. I guess I just have enough money myself to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I&#x27;ve used this notion to defend these guys before: I&#x27;m from the Bay Area. There are literally multi-millionaires riding public transportation next to homeless drug addict covered in their own urine and sometimes feces. This is not an exageration. There are more regular people with money out there than you guys realize. And D1 doesn&#x27;t even claim to bet that much. He bets similar numbers to me. I just bet less on baseball because i&#x27;m still s novice baseball capper but when it comes to basketball, and especially football....

cause guys who bet thousands on games dont need to bother posting on forums like this. Question to them is, why bother? What, you need to document your games? lol Excel does that fine. What, you need to tell a bunch of strangers what youre doin? cmon. Makes zero sense for some dudes to say I have 1500, 2000, 1000, on games. Nah, dont buy it. But hey, we can all agree to disagree

I think D1 actually bets with real money personally. 1-5k really ain&#x27;t that far out of the realm. I&#x27;ve bet 5k on Floyd before and I&#x27;m nothing special. JR grumpert betting a million a week is a tad bit far fetched imo tho

I agree. There are a lot of kids on this site posing in a fantasy of being big game high stakes players when it comes to sports gambling. Big money players do not waste their time playing on the covers sites. Word of advice though... Tail WizzKid and In2it. $$$$!!!

No one said you have to be betting real money to post plays on this forum. Is there somewhere in the rules and regulations that states that? Some people only wish they had money to bet on the plays that they post, but what&#x27;s wrong with free information!

Who gives a flying phuk man. Get a life and keep busy rather than worrying about what others are betting. Whats the difference if you&#x27;re betting $10 , $100, $1000? Answer is nothing you are just being a hater and are bored with life itself. Tail or Fade it&#x27;s pretty simple. People can post whatever the phuk they want. Why does anybody for that matter have to bother posting in forums like this? That&#x27;s where everyone&#x27;s thinking is flawed. You guys have this 1980&#x27;s image of a highrolling bettor being some guy in a neo-modern condo with a Lambo in the garage who only talks to his banker, his bookie, and his tout. You think the money being claimed somehow means these aren&#x27;t regular guys. What i&#x27;m saying is there&#x27;s plenty of regular guys with money. And a regular guy playing 100 dallars a game is no different than a regular guy betting 5k. Why do any of us post in these forums. I do my own capping so I don&#x27;t often tail. I don&#x27;t need my ego stroked so I don&#x27;t often post official picks. Leans maybe. I come here for camaraderie, which is why I suspect most of us out here. We&#x27;ll a brotherhood of wagerers. We have that drive in us to turn nothing into something (or technically something into something that&#x27;s more). Not everyone has that in them. So we look to relate. I get people like D1, and Gumpert, could just as easily post picks without dollar amounts but now we&#x27;re just getting into semantics. Besides if they didn&#x27;t post waget amounts with their picks, you trolls would just complain about that. "How much are you betting? I bet you aren&#x27;t even playing these picks. Blah, blah, blah." It&#x27;s like you guys are only happy thinking every single player on covers has a $100 limit. Bottom line is that haters are gonna hate. Players are gonna do them and keep it moving.

I agree with you tho that posting dollar amounts is dumb. I almost never post what I bet. Heck I don&#x27;t even bother posting a record. I see no point in it. I&#x27;m not trying to compete with anyone, and I&#x27;m def not competing against myself. I bet because I like the rush, and I post plays because I like to be a degenerate and discuss sports just like everyone else...

Stump, I hear ya, and listen, I dont tail or fade really anyone on here. Do my own thing and make my 50-150 type bets and thats it. As real as it gets. But again, for a guy like Coach or whoever to come in and say 1500....and for the most part lose and never own it but when they win comes the dollar bag right away....AND....mislead people who are desperate and losing a lot on their own..they see 1500 or 2k from someone in a post and they jump on it. Weak yes...but cmon, weve all been down a lot in our time and seen a truck that had a bumbper sticker on it with a team name and we say its a sign! lol...i think clowns like those guys who post fake dollar amt bets, or if they are real, have no reason to do so. There is nothing to gain. I get your buddy system and us all having this common connection....but not all guys who come here do. They just crave and yearn for the attention. I take it you&#x27;ve done your research and taken polls on all the high roller gamblers to see if they frequent a forum like covers right?  How the F would you know if someone is betting real or fake on an anon board?  Why the F do you even care?  If someone loses a bet, why should they have to come back on the forums and announce the loss if they don&#x27;t want to?  Is it that farfetched that someone who bets $5000 a game likes to discuss and chat on a forum?  What if said person worked their behind off their whole life to make money, only to never develop social skills, and would rather be sociable on an online setting instead?  Guess how big my bets were at the beginning of the season. $5. Who cares?

I always state my wagers by "units" and keep track of my "units". Nobodys business but mine how much a unit is, and to be fair my units stay the same throughout.
