I sure would use both
Quad queens, Ace kicker
Now if I was dealt Queen Jack...
The King on board would be my kicker
yeap bad example, my bad

I'm probably going to stake a couple of guys into an event or two at the Borgata. I might even play an event myself.
Let me know the tournaments your planning on playing
I'm aiming for events 5, 10, and 14 as of now. I'm surely going to play event 14 though (the Stud tourney).

I was actually talking yesterday to someone who stakes players down in A.C.
I happens alot more than you think.
Do you play online? The fastest way to get backed in B+M tournies is with a good online track record that someone can look up.
The Borgata Poker Open starts September 8 and they will have some larger buy-in events. So there are always guys looking for more horses if you have the resume.
I'm mainly a cash game player but I'm gonna take the next 6 weeks and work on my Tournament game and play a few of those events for sure.

Yeah I kinda saw what was going on but like I said I stopped paying attention since there were soooo many people crowding around the table and you could not really tell what they were all talking about. I was playing in a game were my back was toward the action going on...i was facing the tournament and high limit section, my seat was in the isle you turn left down to the bathrooms....i'm sure you know the spot i'm talking about in relation to the table the jackpot hit....I basically got tired of looking behind me to see what was going on. I saw people fighting and stuff and I saw the security come in. The guy in the Giants jersey is there everyday. I forget his name but I was talking to him about the days bases card...he loves to bet sports. He was wearing a Plaxico Burress jersey tuesday night and a Brandon Jacobs jersey yesterday. I did not know that he missed the hand. That's a worse beat than I took!!
That guys name is Kevin. And he did get some money from a few of the players, not everyone.
He said probably like 3k all together, At least it was something.

Great going Danno!
How much did it pay?
I'm gonna start playing more tournaments down there to get ready for the Open in September.
In fact I has promised myself that i'm only going to play Tournaments for the next 6 weeks to get ready.
Then play a bunch of those events.

Thanks. There were only 66 people. First was about 2300 and second was about 1200. We each took 1750. No one else who made the money (top 9) gave a tip.
We didn't play a hand heads up. We just chopped as soon as the third guy was out. The guy I was up against was pretty bad too. I probably would've won. The staff is relentless though. When there were five people left, they were asking if we wanted to keep playing or chop, and then they asked every couple of minutes it seemed, until we finally did. He was a nice guy and it might've taken a long time, so I relented.
Most times when I've gotten to the bubble, someone will suggest that everyone put in ten bucks or so for the person who misses the money. When we got to the final ten, there was a lady with less than two big blinds. No one said anything about creating the little tenth place prize, I guess because the lady was about to go out. First hand at the final table, some knucklehead moves all in in front of her. She folds, and someone behind calls with KK. The all in guy had A5, and he gets busted. The lady went out on the next hand, but made $192.

A score is a score!
Congrats.
And yeah that happens alot with chopping, the person who does not want to chop gets knocked out quick...when people try to freeze someone out they find a way to cash.
I donked around and played the 12:15 Taj Mahal tourney the other day because there was no PLO going yet and I figured I would kill a some time.
Small buy-in...only 43 players....kinda felt like a little Sit n Go you would play on Stars really.
Well final table was pretty simple....and once we got down to 6 players there was a lady at the table who had like 1BB left....we all agreed to give her 10 bucks each (no real reason, just being nice i guess...rare in the world of Poker...but again this was a small buy-in event...the people i was playing against were hardly regulars) and we chopped the thing 5 ways even split.
To be honest I would have taken the tournament down so I probably ended up giving away a couple of hundred bucks but they had started the PLO game and I wanted to play in that so I agreed to the chop.
I guess it was good karma as I won 2.5 racks in the PLO game hahaha

Good job. That's a nice days work.
I started working again, so I haven't played as much live in the past few weeks. I've been playing on FullTilt, 1/2 PLO with an ante. The game is wild, but I play tight and do ok.

Yeah thats a crazy game on FullTilt.
I dont play much online anymore...no real reason. I just prefer live play.
Are you going to play any of the Borgata Poker Open events in September?
I'm probably gonna play the $400 Deep Stack Event #1 for sure.
Only because the field will be at least 70% dead money for sure.
Then the $400 PLO is that Friday, gonna play that for sure.
I probably wont stick around for that weekend as I like to be home in front of the TV's watching my Football wagers on the weekend in the fall but I might return the next week to play the Heads Up event. It's a $2,150 buy-in so the field will be tough but i love playing live heads-up. Dont really get the chance to play heads-up alot live alot. And it's Double Elimination so you can overcome a bad beat along the way.
After that i'm not sure what i'll play. I doubt I will play the Main Event so those 3 might be all.

I'm just trying to work out my Poker schedule for the next 6 months as we speak.
Booking hotel rooms, ect.
So i'm bouncing back and forth from "maybe, possibly, probably, and for sure." haha
