Will casinos ever fill the floors back up with Blackjack tables

once this poker fad dies off? I am not a big fan of Blackjack, but I used to like it much better when I could gamble on a multitude of tables before the poker room ate up that space.

At my local casino, they are at least opening back up a few Blackjack tables next to the poker room, which tells me that they are hurting for poker players.

I guess people are finally going broke and wising up to the fact that the exorbitant rake in poker makes winning virtually impossible, even in the short-run.

Had not played poker for a few months so I went last week to a local casino card room.

No more $1-$2 no limit.

It is now $1-$3 no limit.

Rake is still 10%,..But now the max they take has been raised to $6 from what had been the norm for many years of $5 max.

They still take $1 every pot for the bad beat.

Agree with Wizard...Impossible to beat the rake. Better off playing blackjack.
