Watchdog inspector general finallyreleases report on Trump administration weaponization of government against political enemies such as journalists and members of congress.  In 4 years, record 334 leak investigations referred for criminal investigations. A second term could be worse.  In contrast, House GOP investigations failed to prove weaponization of government by Biden administration.

Republicans’ spectacular debacle came to an embarrassing close on Monday

You may or may not have been following every twist and turn of it, but Republicans really did spend over a year attempting to impeach President Joe Biden.

At the heart of this impeachment effort was a star witness, a man Republicans claimed was their smoking gun: Alexander Smirnov, an FBI informant who "supposedly" had the evidence that Biden had taken bribes and that a Ukrainian energy company had paid millions of dollars to the president and his son.

The problems mounted for the [giddy but stupid]  House republicans, when Smirnov was arrested for LYING to the FBI (his story was fabricated) and his admission that part of his "intel" was provided to him by Russian Intelligence officials.

Monday in court, the republican's star witness against Biden formally plead guilty to a FELONY charge of lying to the FBI about the phony bribery scheme.
He faces 4 - 6 years in federal prison.

Abuse of power for GOP house to harass political enemies with witch hunts lacking proof.  Unlike Trump two impeachments supported by strong evidences.  Next target may be bogus investigation of January 6 committee.  Fascist government is characterized by suppression of resistance.
