The former FBI informant charged with lying about
the Bidens’ dealings in Ukraine told investigators
after his arrest that Russian intelligence officials
were involved in passing information to him about
Hunter Biden, prosecutors said Tuesday in a new
court filing, noting that the information was false.

Prosecutors also said Alexander Smirnov has been
“actively peddling new lies that could impact US elections”
after meeting with Russian spies late last year and that
the fallout from his previous false bribery accusations
about the Bidens “continue[s] to be felt to this day.”

So we learned the puppet master pulling the strings of his useful idiots in the US House and right-wing media is Putin.

Tthey are also against aid to Ukraine and hostile to NATO. What a shocker!

Fraud accused of lying to FBI about Hunter Biden claims his fake info came from Russian intelligence

Washington — The man accused last week of delivering false allegations to federal investigators about Hunter Biden and President Biden's business dealings told officials after his arrest that individuals "associated with Russian intelligence" were tied to apparent efforts to peddle a story about the first son, federal prosecutors revealed in a court filing Tuesday.

Alexander Smirnov was arrested last week after being charged with two counts that alleged he lied to the FBI. Special counsel David Weiss — the Trump-appointed prosecutor tasked with investigating the president's son — accused Smirnov of providing his FBI handlers with fake allegations about Hunter and Mr. Biden in 2020.

Just like the foolish followers of the stinky guy who paints himself orange (like the clown that he is),who believed the trumps bull shit story about the meeting with the Russian's being about adoption.

Special counsel asks judge to send indicted ex-informant in Hunter Biden case back to jail

Special counsel David Weiss [a trump appointee] asked a California judge Wednesday to send indicted ex-FBI informant Alexander Smirnov back to jail while he awaits trial on lying to the FBI.

A magistrate judge in Las Vegas released Smirnov on Tuesday.

Prosecutors asked a federal judge in California to overturn that ruling in a new filing Wednesday, reasserting their concerns about Smirnov’s connections to foreign intelligence officials and his access to significant amounts of cash.

Sean Hannity and right-wing media claimed the ‘Biden crime family’ took millions in bribes.

The tale, as it goes, claimed that an executive at the Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid for access to then-Vice President Biden to improperly wield his influence and help squash an investigation led by a Ukrainian prosecutor into the company.

Evidence of the bribery scheme has always been thin, at best, with most authoritative news outlets treating the claims with incredulity.
