On Thursday morning he fired off this tweet -- designed to alarm people and
distract from the worst quarterly GDP loss in recorded American history:
"With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good),
2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history.
It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until
people can properly, securely and safely vote???"
Make no mistake -- this is the sitting President of the United States, who is
seeking a second term, floating the idea of delaying the upcoming election.
That's something America has never done - even in the depths of the Civil War.
This dangerous game is really part of an extended effort by the President
to sow the seeds of doubt in the legitimacy of the election if he should lose.
Don't take my word for it. Listen to President Trump in his interview with
Chris Wallace last weekend when asked whether he would accept the
results of the election.
"It depends. I think mail-in voting is going to rig the election. I really do,"

Republicans and democrats criticize Trump suggestion to delay 2020 election. Historically, no federal election has ever been postponed. Not even in times of war. No evidence supports his claim of massive voting fraud from mail-in votes. Obviously, he is desperate to cling to power and is trying to undermine credibility of election results because he is afraid of losing.
Trump is a threat to democracy. His administration has worked to make voting harder by closing polling locations, supporting partisan gerrymandering to draw election maps to favor one party over another, targeting minorities with restrictive ID laws and undermining US postal service. According to Washingtonpost, USPS union workers warn of policy changes that may be detrimental for mail-in voting.
Pretty much spot on. He knows he is losing, so he is just preparing to call the election fraudulent as a desperate attempt to stay in office. Scary stuff, regardless of political party. 
Obviously, he is desperate to cling to power and is trying to undermine credibility of election results because he is afraid of losing.

Trump just runs his mouth and tries to see what sticks to the wall. I guess none of you understand his approach. He knows he's full of it and generally doesn't intend on following through. He wants to see the reaction and then he decides how feasible something is. He doesn't actually know what's considered to be constitutional and what's not. That's why I privately laugh at Republicans who think Obama was clueless when it came to that. Obama actually read the Constitution and understood how it worked. Trump has never read the document and he doesn't know what broad powers are technically afforded to him. That's why I don't take Trump seriously and I think it's hilarious that anyone shows him respect. He's so fing stupid and he simply isn't educated enough to know the material for important subjects. He's a clown who paid others to do his work and then tried to fake it in the real world. Great, except that doesn't work for being president. You need to be measured and you absolutely need to read briefings. I honestly think he's the worst president this country has ever had.

A colossal failure of Trump's leadership
The dark blue US passport used to open pretty much every door around the globe;
now those doors are slammed shut. A roll call of some of America's closest allies
that won't let Americans visit include Canada, France, Germany and Italy.
And for good reason:
This past week, 18 American states set records for their numbers of confirmed
coronavirus cases. There are now more than 4.5 million confirmed cases in the US.
And how the US got here has much to do with a catastrophic failure of national leadership.
Trump's government abdicated its role by not issuing a national shutdown order
and a mandate to wear masks. After the expiration of the voluntary 45-day federal
advisory to "slow the spread," the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
guidance on how to reopen carefully in phases was ignored in many states.
By prioritizing "reopening" over public health, trump has chosen to accept
that many hundreds of thousands of Americans will die of Covid-19.
The CDC estimates that nearly 50% of Americans have underlying conditions
that put them at risk of contracting a severe case of the disease.
Many millions more are then likely to have a severe case that
may not end in death, but will nonetheless result in prolonged illness.

You don't have a right to kill me
(CNN) Cigarette smoking has been banned in various states and countless
municipalities across the nation for the simple reason that smokers have
no right to kill me or my family with their second-hand smoke.
The same philosophy must also apply to wearing a mask to protect others
from Covid-19:
No one has the right to kill anyone else with their "second hand" germs.
Mask wearing, as Trump administration's infectious disease expert Dr. Fauci
has repeated numerous times, is to "protect others." This has been echoed
by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has dubbed
wearing a face covering an urgent priority since asymptomatic people can
transmit Covid-19.
This is pretty simple stuff: By wearing a mask you literally could save the
life of someone's mother, father, sister, brother or grandparent.
Yet there are still some Americans who in a display of utter selfishness
refuse to wear a mask despite knowing the health risks that poses
