A veteran of Bougainville and Guam campaigns, Brigadier General Van Stockum is most noted for his service as director, Marine Corps Reserve and later as commanding general, Fleet Marine Force, Pacific (Forward) on Okinawa during the Vietnam War.
He turned 104 today....
A Happy birthday, to this Semper Fi.................

It's always good to see a 16-term Congressman finally leaving office....but having a member of the Democratic Socialists of America win an election is not good news to many Americans..

I was trying to help you keep this thread alive but it's going to die like everything else you touch. You're just not worth the time.

Feel free to come back though ,,,, if,you change your mind and attitude this thread is about Good News not like the hate filled threads that are posted in this forum daily...

My attitude? The last 2 entries I made in this thread, you disparaged. I mentioned a 34 year member of congress getting defeated in NYC & you make a negative comment about the victor. I applaud Dr. Fauci for being chosen to throw out the 1st pitch opening day & you make a snide remark about the good doctor. No wonder so few come into your threads.
There you go Midnight1... trying to turn this thread into a snot fight like the other bickering threads..something I was trying to avoid,,as far as my threads having few visitors ..that's right they don't. Because, unlike your 5,000 view threads with 3000 posts (mostly from you bumping them with new Trump negativity) 'm not looking for attention..however, that can't be said about you....no siree Bob..

I just saw that Brother Slim closed the thread but I have to add this:
In-n-Out Burger is looking to open more Oregon locations in addition to the one in Keizer. I love that place. Them and Burgerville (Northwest thing) are the only fastfood I really eat. 5 Guys is good too though i'm not super into it.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!
