Many are in danger of fire due to poor management of understood dead brush and trees.
We have a lot of asylum seekers here's well as homeless living in tents eating at soup kitchens or given space at emergency shelters.
Could it be possible to set up a program for anyone willing to remove the fire Hazzard in woods as a credit for long term housing affordable . Due to sweat equity and have some justification for the millions spent to house clothe feed these refugees and homeless citizens...
Just asking don't get bent out of shape. With this logic.

If this idea is good enough to bring midnight back into the politics forum after he swore that he was retired , then pencil me in for a Little Richard mustache with the accompanying complementary eyebrows and also put my name down as a guy that believes that this is a great idea
I nominate fubah , Kelly , and Zeus to patrol the perimeter and the parameters of said domicile space and I want them to be looking out for any unwanted tomfoolery , shenanigans , narcotics drug use , or violence ….
and I want them to survey and police the land free of charge , and also any of their doctor’s or hospital bills that shall come to pass because of their brave and selfless acts of heroin will come out of their own pockets …..
because let’s be honest with ourselves , there’s always a chance that some motherfuckers will go buckwild on the “ I’m gonna get unruly as all hell and possibly steal your picnic baskets and maybe even slice you and then dice you or fuck one of your holes when you let your guard down “ tip if we don’t at least keep a minimal eye on what’s happening out there ……
only you can prevent forest fires

Spock do you have any understanding of how environmental aware activist work?
To do something as you suggest would be ery hazardous to the fat B@stard who was being that disrespectful...
I am not sure if you are truly aware of the passive aggressive nature of environmental activists.
To simply act in way that creates fear would get you poison ivy for undies and socks a hornets nests thrown in tent ... urine for coffee water.. you have the understanding... and God forbid but spock those pretty little park rangers aren't always nice.
If you just don't out right eat death caps as your mushroom on the burgers.... all the alpha jail act would not stop sleeping with a recluse spider. Or in other areas e joking a coral snake in shoe while tripping off peoti... and acting crazy will get you removed or we'll permanently erased and good to see if some of these asylum seekers and other transients exhibit such behavior in a controlled government study.
Before we promote them to citizen or resident alien with privacy and their own space.

Yet one year into what's envisioned as a decade-long effort, federal land managers are scrambling to catch up after falling behind on several of their priority forests for thinning even as they exceeded goals elsewhere. And they've skipped over some highly at-risk communities to work in less threatened areas, according to data obtained by The Associated Press, public records and Congressional testimony.
The federal government owns 238 million acres (31%) of U.S. forests, most of which are managed by the U.S. Forest Service (FS)—as part of the National Forest System (NFS)—and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM);

Just surprised that a Liberal would admit this. As this has been noted on here various times as being the main reason for wildfires and their increase in strength over the last several years.
Usually, Liberals go straight to the Climate Change scam as being the reason.

Absolutely. As I have pointed out several examples of how this has been done in areas and been successful.

So asylum seekers and refugees and homeless in a volunteer program accumulating per diem credit to housing needs.... Could this be misco street as slave labor or indentured servantitude or more of a sweat equity such as habitat for humanity principled?
Homeless are not going to do it -- most, by and large, have other issues to deal with.
There are not enough asylum seekers and refugees that are capable of it.
They just need to get back to doing it instead of not being allowed to do it. The Left and the Media need to stop blaming it on Climate Change.

Yes I understand the frustration with dealing with the choices these individuals have made to become homeless by and large. And I do understand that not all refugees asylum seekers and immigrants who are in tents would want to do this...
But I believe that where so many holes in the line of defense of our natural forests in preventing wildfires due to poor land management principals have led us to this very same point.
If we do not offer it as a program to al. Then none will be willing to participate. However if we do offer it to all. Then areas of greatest concern would get more personal. And let's face it pulling brush out of the woods and piling it is not skilled labor position.
They are already living in tents....

By and large they choose to live in tents or they have issues that cause them to live in tents. If they wanted work they could find it.
It is not as if you are just going to grab some hedge clippers and a rake and sweep the forest floor. These folks would have to be trained on large equipment, etc.
The system in the USA is set up to mostly keep people in tents that want to be there; it is not a situation where you can force them out of tents and force them to all of a sudden go to work.
There are plenty of programs set up to get them jobs if they want them. You could add this to the list I guess.
You could even go back to chain gangs and allow the prisoners to do some of the work.
I agree it needs to be done. But there were already situations set up to do it; just need to get back to doing it.

Yes I am aware of Kamela Harris record on use of prison labor for fire Control as an ag of California.
Not impressed S for equipment yes a chainsaw operator or forwarder chipper positions would need some skill to operate safely.
UT hundreds of manual labor put that there positionsremain unfilled. I do agree we need to stop blaming global warming. It is counter productive to arsonists I. The forest torching millions of acres with a .match... and money alone won't fix this... we need labor.

At one point the main family uncle was drinking when times were tough causing the family hardship during tough times. However when the characters all had a food chance work and plenty that uncle te did not to want to drink due to lack of circumstances that drive him to the bottle....

Within the logic of "grapes of wrath",
At one point the main family uncle was drinking when times were tough causing the family hardship during tough times. However when the characters all had a food chance work and plenty that uncle te did not to want to drink due to lack of circumstances that drive him to the bottle....
WHY SHOULD GOVERNMENTS WELCOME REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND MIGRANTS?
We want to live in a world where people who are in grave danger have the opportunity to rebuild their lives in safety.
In a globalized world, sharing global responsibility for global issues is the fair thing to do.
Host communities benefit from the tremendous energy and drive to start new lives, which these people bring.
Welcoming people from other countries strengthens host communities by making them more diverse and flexible in our fast-changing world.
Some of the most inspiring and influential people in the arts, science, politics and technology have been refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. They were allowed to rebuild their lives in a new country and they thrived as members of a new community.

Congress in the last two years approved more than $4 billion in additional funding to prevent repeats of destructive infernos that have torched communities including in California, Colorado and Montana.
There is alot of money here.
4 billion dollars to remove dead wood and understood brush.

Not sure what you mean here? Who dozed off in tall grass and got dissected? What are you saying about who is human and what is trash? Just because folks have issues does not mean they are not human but it may mean they do not want to help or are not capable?

Yes, the issue is never about money; it is about how it is used. Along with the narrative on these things.
