I think that is not Trump-speak; that is normal group-speak.
Nonetheless, his point is valid whether he did much or not -- he simply is identifying with the group that, hopefully, killed the bill.

I’m sure Trump is open for suggestion on political options & discussions “ even if it’s 15 minutes worth” with his team of campaign advisers but to think that the MAGA supporters who hold elected positions play Iota in his post 2020 decisions is ludicrous, Trump is the King of his campaign! Right in killing a good bipartisan action ? The Republicans without nightly dreamers of stand with Trump in a photo opportunity realized this was a good bill! If you really want to eliminate illegal aliens just make Strong penalties for hiring them for employment! Look at Canada or Europe and the price of employing a worker without a permit.

Absolutely. It does not matter how 'bipartisan' they claim it to be; if it contains bad stuff, they should kill it

Some did. But most simply decided there was some 'good' in it that offset the 'bad' in it enough to vote for it -- so they could seem bipartisan. This needs to stop. They need to stop conflating issues and policies in bills to make them seem 'bipartisan'.

Absolutely. I have always said this is the first thing that should happen, period!

I would not look at either of those places for anything at all on how to handle illegal immigration!
I would try my best to do exactly the opposite of anything they do. Visit either of those places and see how it is, or read up on the disaster they have become on this issue.

Ireland was a nice place I’ve been fortunate visit in the as last year. They are very tough on hiring works without citizenship and compliance is a given way of life. As far Canada you do a lot worse in this world & that’s considering world it self is in decline maybe even before Covid………But me I’m a happy person

I realize that most people are not interested in reading, listening to, or watching things that they do not agree with.
I always advocate that folks should do this to an extent, that way they at least can see where the other side is coming from and decide if they at least have legitimate points.
There is a very good interview that is about 45 minutes long that you can find on YouTube that is very interesting. They go over a lot of the reasons behind this and bring up very many valid points.
It is on Farzan's site I think and hosted by David Sacks. But it has Elon and Ramaswamy talking to JD Vance, Ron Johnson, and Mike Lee.
They cover a lot of very good points that a lot of people have concerns about. It is a very good discussion without folks talking over each other.
You can just have it run in the background while you are watching a game or doing something else.
But I would encourage you to watch this and I would be interested in what your thoughts are on what they say.

It's a big deal because it's Nicky Haley's home state.
I know... seems obvious to most of us, but only "darkness can't figure that part out. 
That's the general election. Not a primary. Huge difference between a state which leans heavily one way not voting for one of their own who resides on the other side of the political aisle and peopl of a state who belong to a particular party voting against one of their own for said parties nomination. It would be like Hillary Clinton carrying Vermont in '16.
Trump's home state is New York and wasn't Nixon from California? Yeah, they were never winning those states in a general election. Bet they won the primary though.
Mainly because it is very, very rare and it is not a good sign for the rest of the path for her.
I think the last time it happened was Nixon, when he lost California. But he lost it to Reagan, who was the Governor if California.
In fact, that may be the only time it has happened that I recall.
Haley has now lost all of the caucuses and primaries so far this year -- and has been blown out in all of them.
So, it seems as if she is hanging around for one of two reasons: to disrupt Trump's run in favor of Biden, or in hopes that Trump does not make it and she will be the default candidate.
But this is unlikely to happen as DeSantis, or someone else, would get the nomination at the convention. Not many on the Right really like Haley that much. Now, some will like her even less if she does not drop out.
