Good luck with this forum. Perhaps you can conduct a course in reading and comprehension. Most people here have no comprehension at all. Most “read into” a post what they want to see, not what was written.

If a poster says, “I like apples” it DOES NOT MEAN “He hates oranges!”

If a poster criticizes Trump DOES NOT MEAN “I love Obama and Clinton”

If a poster promotes corporate tax cuts while criticizing personal and pass-through cuts it DOES NOT MEAN “I favor the prior tax plan”

I would hate to think these people are reading and signing mortgages or other contracts affecting their future. Might as well ask a blind guy “Look OK to you?”

I would also like to wish Covers good luck fighting whoever is sabotaging the MLB Forum lately. Obviously Covers cannot afford to hire the kind of techies that could put a stop to it. That has destroyed the “hot stove season” that so many of us enjoyed.

See you in the Spring, if the baseball forum gets straightened out.

Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Good Lord, I understand the frustration with the forum but  your solution is like summoning Jeffrey Dahmer to help solve an eating disorder.

Currently, US is a divided nation with many Americans disagreeing with each other.  Even facts are misinterpreted.  Unfortunately, this unrest is wisely reflected in online forums too.

Well the nature of personality is the issue, people want to have biases and they want to be combative..thats how we are. People can be given facts right to their faces and they know inside that those facts are true yet they will still follow their biases because pride and ego get in the way and cloud rational judgement.

How else can you explain that a country would elect such a total moron, an abusive, derisive, negative shallow joke like Trump? Its no secret he is a jerk..he has been a jerk for decades and abusive for decades yet still there are millions of people that would vote for him and ignore what is right in front of their faces and actually support this disgusting guy. I know the reason why they did it but it does not excuse that people will ignore glaring and obvious facts and truths because they want to elevate their lack of ego and they think that the benefit of the political position is greater than the disgusting flaws this awful guy has.

The spammer issue is a different beast all together but let me say if any of you really knew just how bad it is and how much effort the site and mods give to combating it, nobody would ever complain or say the comments I see here regularly. I've been a mod for a while and these spammers are the worst I've ever seen and I've seen a ton of spammers.

Will it get to the point in time where we will have to pass a reading comprehension class to enter the Covers political forum. Let me know.

I think you have been unable to comprehend for a long time yet you are still allowed to post, so I think you are safe to continue with your standard party replies as you always have.

Talk about reading comprehension, the system worked perfectly and we weren't electing a student council president,Mr. Horse might familiarize with the way a President is elected in a Democratic Republic and less with cartoons.

I thank God for that everyday that the sane people in the country finally voted for someone that's unconnected to that fkn swamp... I also find it amazing that you just continue to bash the most successful POTUS in 40 years by ANY MEASUREMENT... I'm not going to go through the list but it's infinitely better than 8 years of the last empty suit. Keep looking for the Russian connection D1. Merry Christmas anyway.

AND, The three million were illegals and those getting welfare and other freebies...2018 mid terms will be even worse for the party that has no new ideas....Their ONLY idea is to try and impeach Trump...

Not a winning strategy for 2018..

No genius. Are you living under a rock?

    ISIS in shambles,
    Stockmarket records.
    Unemployment at 17 year low.
    Consumer confidence higher
    Home construction booming
    Home prices rising
Record tax package passed (more money in your pocket unless you wish to donate it to the Fed)
GDP over 3% for 2 consecutive quarters in forever and will continue to go up.

Democratic Party in shambles because after 1 year, they charged 4 people with nothing to do with Russian collusion. There only plan is impeachment which would blow the economy up overnight and crash the stock market. Maybe you hate the country that much, you'd like that. What I enjoy is the more than comes out about the DNC and the Obama Administration the more corrupt/dishonest they look every day. I'll bet if the Dems would've let Trump have a chance all this dirty laundry wouldn't be coming out. Obama admin green lit uranium sales to Russia but now Russia's bad? Sure. Pelosi & Schumer look stupider by the day, I hope they keep them as the face of the party forever.
Remember you can't cry wolf in a crowded theatre according to Pelosi.

And all this in 11 months... He really sucks doesn't he?

Now instead of one line, make a case of what's wrong with winning for a change?

Sad, sad state of affairs on the Left. Embarrassing  to be a Dim at this specific point in time. Trump destroys ISIS which O and Clinton helped create. MAGA! Would we be winning under HIllary  in the White House?

I find it amusing that people complain that we ended up with Trump when the alternative was Hillary.

It's like arguing over what would be a better way to die, car wreck or plane wreck.

Here's the best part of all.  When people bash Trump they never say Hillary would have been better.  Very telling.

Unfortunately, you only have 2 choices... The choices last November were Winning vs. Losing...  In your mind, you compare it to selecting how to die... Amazing.

Please make an argument against the list I made in #15. I'll wait. Also, what missing from the list that would make you rethink your position.

*Icecog , this is your contribution to the forum ?  Less than 100 posts, and this is your winner ?   Killer schooled you , and rightfully so.  If you can't realize that Trump is infinitely better than Billary, then you aren't paying attention.  How do you like that like that 3% GDP compared to O'dumbo's 2% ?     O'bama couldn't even put this together  in 8 years, let alone 11 months for Trump.   Pretty impressive,  huh ?

The spammer issue is a different beast all together but let me say if any of you really knew just how bad it is and how much effort the site and mods give to combating it, nobody would ever complain or say the comments I see here regularly. I've been a mod for a while and these spammers are the worst I've ever seen and I've seen a ton of spammers.

Is it bias or sheer stupidity?

I firmly believe that if Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh told people that chocolate milk came from brown cows; the next day you could drive through the countryside and see dumbf+ck hayseeds jerking off Angus bulls.

Still too early to credit Trump who is lucky to inherit a strong economy from Obama   In the first year, previous presidents have a bigger impact on the economy than new presidents.  In C-SPAN survey, historicans rank presidents based on 10 qualities.

Economic management. Public persuasion. Crisis leadership. Moral authority. International relations. Administrative skills. Relations with congress. Vision or setting an agenda. Pursuit of equal justice for all. Performance within context of times.

Based on first year, Trump should be ranked below Obama the 12th best president of all time because of low rankings in public persuasion, moral authority, international relations, relations with congress and pursuit of equal justice for all.  Hard to surpass Obama's 8th rank in economic management  which is higher than Reagan.
