WASHINGTON (Reuters) -

President Joe Biden took steps on Wednesday to address the shortage
of infant formula in the United States, invoking the Defense Production Act to help manufacturers obtain the ingredients needed to ramp up supply.

Biden also directed U.S. agencies to use Defense Department commercial aircraft to bring formula into the U.S. from overseas.

importing from Australia, New Zealand & Britain bc they have similar inspections/process's as USA I believe?

supply from overseas -- a domestic shortage caused by the safety-related
closure of the country's largest baby formula manufacturing plant.

Biden's Defense Production Act order requires that
suppliers of formula manufacturers to fulfill orders from those companies
before other customers, in an effort to eliminate production bottlenecks.

Ontario makes baby formula but it's shipped over seas and they are not going to ship to USA. I think it's Amazon Canada. Some jerkoffs will probably sell some desperate parents formula that is not I suspect.

foreign manufacturers to begin shipping more formula into the U.S.

Nancy Pelosi and the HOUSE passed the first of two bills aimed at providing $28 million to address baby forumla shortage.
