The government can state you must have a shot can't go to a retail chain stores without masks

retail stores must enforce this or lose licences 

 must carry an unwanted child if your pregnant

They can set a price freeze.

Simply put you can only sell it for this price no more.

Or you can't mine it on federal land.

If a company who has a lease can not comply the lease may be sold to a corporation that will remain in compliance.

The government can freeze the price of goods and services .

Rent, medicine, road construction costs, medical industries computer services pay levels

 Feds provide the most mining tracts for oil production. These leases have been brought to zero dollar arrangements to insure supply at a reasonable cost for the product..... Reality it's there oil were just renting space so to speak frankly of it.

 Gas station owners make about 3-7 cents/gallon on gasoline sold........ they don't have much wiggle room & aren't the cause of high gas prices.

The people that own the pumps the tanks the storage facilities the entire system..... Oil companies.... Who lease land drill for product move product to refineries refineries to storage facilities storage facilities to the tankers who fill the tank .... The corporation owns it all...
