A lot of people tell me I'm throwing my vote away when I say I'm voting Libertarian, since anyone w/o a "D" or an "R" next to their name doesn't stand a chance. I understand where they are coming from with that. I just don't think we need to limit our choices to what the D's and R's put forth.
The Dems candidates are downright shameful. I can't get behind Trump for a couple of reasons, one of which is that he was the center piece of a Comedy Central Roast not all that long ago. I have a tough time voting for someone that can be lumped together with Bob Saget, Flava Flave, and David Hasselhoff. Call me old fashioned I guess.
I kind of feel l that was in throwing away a vote and I don't know if Johnson is a viable candidate. I can't vote for sanders because I can't see him and his ideas as being a viable candidate for president.
I was hoping for Rubio, Cruz or even kasich. I thought that Cruz seemed presidential and viable candidate and less dangerous because with his tea party agenda he would focus on undoing what Obama has done from the executive office.
I have said for a along time that I don't like Hillary and fear a feminist agenda in the background of her presidency. But as much as i dislike the idea of Hillary I don't see her being as dangerous as trump.
The problem with trump is that he is dangerous because he doesn't even know when he is being dangerous and this could apply both domestically and international. He is so inexperienced that like it or not he is all hot air at this point because there is no real track record of how he would actualy govern.
Like I get that he could fool the gullible GOP majority base to follow him with talking points/rhetoric but as a sales man its his job to say what the GOP majority base wants to hear and using his emotional rhetoric it was easy to dupe them.
But you have to give trump credit for totally obliterating the GOP and essentially killing conservatism and splintering the party. You see the so called conservatives/GOP's clueless right now not even knowing up from down.
5/4/16 the day conservatism died
But I think Americans as a whole won't let America die the same way conservatives abandoned all their integrity and principles

This parrot post just shows how out of touch with reality you ARE.
Yes, there are a lot of people that are stupid and blindly support Trump because they think he will make a good POTUS.
There are a lot of GOP voters that are supporting Trump because they hate Hillary. Count me in this group.
You are absolutely wrong in saying conservatism died. Clearly you were using your dominant, liberal side of your brain when you came up with that garbage.
If Trump gets elected and ends up embarrassing the conservatives it will only strengthen the movement for the future.
Conservative values are much more solid and have survived the test of time to have a guy like Trump or anyone else come in and destroy the ideals.
Hope you come back to reality sometime!
