Bipartisan investigation refers Trump to DOJ for criminal prosecution on 4 felony charges!

The bipartisan House January 6 Committee voted on Monday to send referrals to the Justice Department recommending former President Donald Trump be criminally prosecuted. 

The referrals include

obstructing an official proceeding of Congress,

conspiracy to defraud the federal government,

making a false statement,

and inciting, assisting, or aiding and comforting an insurrection.

The committee said on Monday that it believes it has significant evidence that former President Trump intended to disrupt the peaceful transition of power, and believes that the DOJ can likely elicit testimony relevant to an investigation under a federal statute that bans rebellion against the U.S. government.

Over its 18-month tenure, the committee obtained access to tens of thousands of documents, the committee has conducted nearly 1,000 interviews related to the Capitol protests, but most of the key witnesses against Trump were republicans.

The bipartisan committee also referred several GOP House lawmakers:

Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.,

Jim Jordan, R-Ohio,

Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.,

and Scott Perry, R-Pa.,

to the House Ethics Committee for refusing to comply with legal subpoenas.

the case against those 4 goes nowhere other than headlines because its like asking criminals caught redhanded if they will rule on themselves going to prison

Turley's comments are his opinion & not based on any facts as he's been prone to do. He's become nothing but a cheerleader. He touted Bill Barr as an excellent candidate for AG & we see how weak & deceptive he was in that position while cashing in by writing a book in an attempt to rehab his image. He's been wrong about the Durham report & the Biden laptop.

Once respected, he's been nothing but a hired gun for the highest bidder.

Struck me the same way.   But remember that Rupert Murdock has lost faith in the 2-time impeached fascist guilty of 17 counts of company criminal tax fraud.

Waiting on Criminal charges

After months of investigations, thousands of hours of interviews, and 10 televised hearings, the House Select Committee to Investigate January 6 announced on Monday that it would refer former President Donald Trump to the Department of Justice on four separate criminal charges.

By a unanimous vote, the committee decided to refer Trump to the DOJ on charges of Obstruction of an Official Proceeding, Conspiracy to Defraud the United States, Conspiracy to Make False Statements, and — perhaps most significantly — criminally Inciting, Assisting, or Aiding or Comforting an Insurrection.

The twice-impeached traitor & convicted TAX FRAUD,  should be indicted on all 4 criminal referrals but something tells me it will only be half that.

I suspect you will be proven right again.
