If he wants to use his segment to make a political statement ...his choice..But he should have known in advance,that most of the audience ( whether they believe in his personal political opinion or not ) would disagree with him making an unexpected political statement during something they feel is their football entertainment time..
He also knew in advance how much time he had ... about 80/90 seconds to communicate that message ..and the message was to blame the method ( a gun)..People who are watching a non-political program..don't tune in to a football game to be lectured on gun control ..wrong forum.
