Meadows, Giuliani among newly INDICTED in Arizona, in latest 2020 election subversion case

A grand jury in Arizona has handed up an indictment against former President Donald Trump’s accomplices over their efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss, including the fake electors from that state and several individuals connected to his campaign.

Boris Epshteyn, a former White House aide who remains one of Trump’s closest advisers; former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows; and Rudy Giuliani are among those who have been indicted, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced the indictments late Wednesday night, focusing on the 11 individuals who acted as pro-Trump electors in the state.

The names of several other indicted REPUBLICAN defendants remain redacted, Mayes said in a statement Wednesday, until those people have been served.

“A state grand jury made up of everyday regular Arizonans, has now handed down felony indictments for all 11 Republican electors as well as several others connected to this scheme. These are very serious indictments, but this is the first hurdle the state must pass in our constitutional criminal justice system. We intend to prove these crimes were committed beyond a reasonable doubt,” Mayes said.

 So far, Trump allies have been criminally charged with election fraud and conspiracy to illegally overturn 2020 election in Arizona, Michigan, Georgia and Nevada.  Since republicans cannot win elections fairly, they resort to cheating.   Trump constantly promotes big lie about stolen election when he is actually the biggest threat to democracy.

All during an election year, what a coincidence. 

The Left has weaponized the legal system against it's opponents, infiltrated the media, and have a large contingency shouting death to j-e-w-s while their leader smiles and watches. They separate races based on color and call it DEI.

 You cant put the words AZ, LEFT and conspiracy in the same narrative it for sure does not exist. If Arizona one of the most conservative states and populations indicted those guys it is for sure warranted. I am not interested in the theatrics because outside of prison it wont mean anything and is probably a waste of taxpayer time and money.

 That quote is misleading, you left out AZ...the other part can exist easy. The left has conspiracy the right has conspiracy there is no difference. AZ and LEFT and CONSPIRACY together is a long long long stretch.

I think the issue for AZ is the way Trump and the GOP put in question the electoral process and that is what caused this to come to the front, not that it was at all about whatever candidate, but that they questioned the process and THAT is grounds for indictment. Trump's cronies went too far because they thought they could without recourse and one of the most blaring weaknesses that Trump has is a lack of understanding of boundaries regarding how you slander people and processes. You cant just mudsling without recourse and that is what they did and that is why many of them are in trouble.

“I will not allow American democracy to be undermined,” Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said in a video released by her office. “It’s too important.”
