Trumps whole campaign was about lowering food prices and energy prices and deporting everybody that wasnt white(but not his employees) etc etc.  Gods second son basically said he would wave his magic wand and gas would be a dollar a gallon.  This idiot actually said he would cut our electricity bills in half, in 1 years time.  Not my words genius. CD my recollection was he definitely chastised Biden/Harris for being in charge and allowing it to happen. He 100% used it as a rallying cry against the Dems. But I don't recall a single time that he promised to lower them. I instinctively wondered the same thing as I was hearing him campaign how in the hell you ever going to make corporations in a capitalist economy lower prices. I got where he was coming from and that prices were higher because energy prices where higher and that was rolled back to consumers. But like Stu said, show where he promised to lower food prices. You might be inferring that from his pointing the finger but I don't recall it either. Sad to say think that ship has sailed. Disgusting as it may be.

Well what I see is this is the article you are referring to, Trump promises to make prices plunge again. That’s a dangerous proposal | CNN Business. In that article he is referring to energy prices and not grocery prices. He did promise to reduce energy prices that is accurate. But again site the source where he promised to reduce grocery prices.

There is no video. Post again with a link please. No my recollection was he didn't promise to reduce grocery costs. Just that the reason grocery costs increased was because of Biden and the Dems. I do remember that.

Edit: Now it works. Same point he is talking about promising to reduce energy costs. He did that 100% for sure throughout the campaign and I think he will for a lot of reasons. He speculated as a result of the reduction of energy that it could reduce grocery bill but he didn't in fact promise it. That was also my recollection. He danced around this issue but never actually promised anything. Again because I remember distinctingly think how in the hell you going to make a corporation reduce their prices. No they will just make more profits is what will happen because prices will remain the same.

Thank you. A real answer. Trump does ramble and had to put his foot in his mouth at times. However any sane minded adult knows that you never see significant drops in grocery prices. They go up, they may fluctuate, but when have there been significant drops in the price of anything?

Now, are we equating comments made at one rally in Detroit to a campaign promise or are there more of these. One thingnis for certain, while his campaign may have focused on pinning high prices on Biden, I didn't see a ton of "we're gonna bring prices down" rhetoric. Then again, I don't watch cable news nor do I follow his rallies.

 He has asked you to not reply in his threads, given your past it is a REASONABLE request. You obviously have issues with him so just keep out of his threads and do not reply it is better for YOU and for him. 

If you know someone has a propensity to get upset and it does not take much to push him over, why interact with him knowing that you are going to cause a bad situation in the process?

There are several members in this area who would rather not interact in a combative fashion and make large efforts to avoid confrontation, so since you already know this just stop replying in his threads and to his comments.

 If you have been in this forum for a while you know the history and you know why he asked the other member to not reply in his threads. There are a few members who know how to push the buttons of others and have done so in the past. If someone makes a reasonable request to not interact so that they avoid breaking the rules and getting upset we have always honored those requests and this for sure is one of them.

Okay so how about I say I don't want any left leaning person to reply to anything I say. I only want thumbs up, likes and pat on the back comments. Given the combative history of the dems on the site its only fair and right. Come on dude. WTF. What exactly did Stu say that was so bad?
