Con artist Trumpy already trying to get away from his pre election

I have no issues with him. He has issues with me. I responded to a topic, not a poster. Not a person. Again, this is a public forum. Posts,  threads if you will, don't belong to anyone except for covers itself. This isn't like going into someone's season thread. Are these posts not meant for debate or is this place just an echo chamber?

Look at his opening post and tell me you have the audacity to say he doesn't want to be combative and makes efforts to avoid confrontation.

 None of your message has to do with the issue. He has asked and did ask you to not interact with him and especially in HIS thread. I'd rather not make this more difficult than it needs to be, it is better for you and him if you just not interact with him. His issue with you is due to how you interact with him. Ive seen it many times, you push his buttons and he does not want to have that be an issue, so just avoid replying to him and make it simple.

A week or so ago i'm talking with the mrs. I go back and forth out of town for work/business, mostly back to California where we're from. I'm telling her about helping my best friend with deck project. I often help my best friend with projects when i'm back home if only just to hang and see my God sons. And i'm telling her about a conversation we had, about how lumber prices had skyrocketed during covid, but hadn't really come down since. And about how prices never really come down once they go up. And she responded with the narrative about Trump's campaign promises. And I said, "Um, I don't really think that's a thing." She was adamant and I for dang sure wasn't about to go there with her but then when I saw this post...

Again, I responded to the post, the subject, not the poster.

Lying to deceive voters is the most common way for politicians to rig elections.  No other politician lies as much as Trump.  He loves the uneducated because they are easier to manipulate.  As a demagogue, Trump appeals to the ignorance and prejudice of voters.  Fascist political playbook is the best way for a bad president to be re-elected.    Unfortunately, democracy depends on informed voters because misinformation is a problem in information age.
