The total disinformation campaign is in full force. Americans are making a huge mistake if they are not preparing for this.

I like Zerohedge. They must have told the truth on their tweet. Imagine that. Banned from Twitter  for telling people the truth about the coronavirus!

What are you going to do to prepare?  Did you prepare for the Flu this year?  

I prepare for the flu by not getting the flu shot. I take a daily dose of at least 1000 mg of vitamin C. I caught the flu this year because of daily visits to hospitals and nursing homes. Basically a hospital acquired flu. Knocked me down for 1 day. 

Basically households need supplies that will last 3 months minimum. 

sundance..I totally agree with you on this. Although this virus is not killing many at this point, it evolves into massive sickness & infections are doubling every 24 hours.

Think about it....China doesn't give a shit about their people but in this case the country has basically shut down to contain the spread of this.

From a financial point of view as of today I am becoming even more risk adverse. This has the potential to destroy companies. 

I'm not a "the sky is falling" kind of guy but I'm preparing myself & my family for this.

Maybe wallstreetcapper can chime in from a financial point of view. 

BTW Trump is the last person I want to take advice from regarding this virus.

He's already mad at the CDC about the comments they have made & all he's worried about is the stock market.

Trump better be careful what he says tonight & I'd advise him not to take any questions because he's unprepared to speak on this matter as he is on most matters.

A little bit of history...back in 2014 Trump sent over a hundred hysterical tweets during the Ebola crisis. He took shots @ President O & his handling of the situation. Instead of providing support during the crisis, Trump tried to add to the turmoil.

Let's see if Trump prevents American students returning from Italy from entering the country over teh next 10 to 14 days.

Great, he puts Pastor Pence in charge who is known for his policies creating an HIV outbreak in Indiana while as Governor. Pence & our current Surgeon General wasted time debating the moral issues behind a needle exchange program in Indiana. His plan is more kind thoughts and prayers. Putting Pence in charge is like putting Trump in charge of a teenage beauty pageant. Everything we know about their history points this to being a bad idea.

And of course this moron blamed the Democrats for the stock market tanking. Further proof investors are not buying his bullshit is DOW Futures turned from positive to negative during Trump's news conference.

 "We'll have a flu shot for this in a fairly quick manner" which of course is relative. Quick to me is 45 to 60 days but in reality it's more like 12 to 18 months.

The level of incompetence, incoherence and incompetence was on full display at the podium tonight for the entire world to see. 

If you didn't see the press conference, it went something like this.....

Expert: The spread of the coronavirus is inevitable.

Trump: I don't think it's inevitable.

Expert: A vaccine is 12 to 18 months away.

Trump: We'll have a vaccine in a fairly quick manner.

Trump: We have to be on the same team.

Trump: Nancy Pelosi is incompetent.

Expert is sister of rod rosenstein.   Deep state....... 

You can thank the Trump administration for making the early decisions to reject foreign travelers from mainland China.  This , in an effort to diminish the virus ' effect on our homeland.  The World Health organization  and China had the incorrect assessment that these acts were not necessarily,  and disrespectful to the Chinese,  respectively.

Proguy747  Amazing  how deep the Deep State goes. Infowars had a good article yesterday on  this. Trump might have thought that Rosenstein was a 'great' guy as he was devising a plan to wear a wire into the White House to take down the President with the 25th amendment.

Dow Jones down 500 points at the bell! Money is doing the talking. Correction taking place! Coronavirus fears are real. Where is wallstreet to give us his opinion?

I am sitting on some liquidity waiting for reinvestment. Think we are close maybe 25k is bottom.  Most of my exposure is in the Nsdaq would like to grab some DOW.

When Trump goes overseas and kills it the Dems release impeachment, Coronavirus, Mueller ETC at the same time.    They try to trash the country and kill our 401K's just to beat Trump..    The gig is up and the people know it.  Deep state was an info wars thing only But Trump brought the swamp to light.  

Just my gut instinct proguy. I am not a financial guy. My gut tells me that investors should not buy on this huge 10% dip. If I am understanding correctly. If I were you. I would liquidate and wait to grab dome dow. Somebody else might consider 20k  the bottom. We are in unchartered territory.
