In politics, the big winners of the last year are the political networks.
Take a look at this, and then hurry back ...
You see what I mean, Q ... ratings are WAYYYYYY up at FOXNews (probably not a good thing for the liberals, but that's a story for another thread)
MSNBC, and CNN viewership is down since the election, but that was to be expected, because that's what normally happens to political channels after a general election has concluded, particularly if the preferred candidate of those stations loses. But MSNBC and CNN had record viewership in 2016 across all demographics (still much less than FOXNews, but again that's for another thread)
The point I am attempting to make is that the very large corporations who own the news channels are the winners, because record number of people have tuned in.
More viewers = more advertising revenue.
More advertising revenue = more profits for said large corporations.
Those who do not need more money, get more money.
Corporations are the real winners, Q ... they make the money.
They do so by putting characters on their shows who are intelligent, well spoken, totally biased, excellent spinners, and practiced at the art of inciting.
They care nothing about telling the news, their sole function is to get ratings up. Unfortunately, the way to get ratings up is not by calming people, and it is not by being boring, it is not by simply reporting the news ... no, that won't work.

The losers are the majority of people who view the aforementioned channels, and believe the sh!t they are being fed. They forgot rule #1, which was eloquently expressed by the noted poet Flava Flav ... DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!
These losers have allowed themselves to become angry based off of what they have been fed. They are too busy being angry to realize they are nothing more than pawns on a rich mans chess board. Their thoughts have been professionally massaged to the point that they not only parrot the hatred which they view and read, but they are totally clueless that all it takes to remove that anger is to turn the channel.
To be clear, I am not calling liberals losers, nor conservatives losers ... I am referring to anyone who has allowed themselves to become irate, irrational, angry, emotional or aggressive based not upon what is happening, but upon what the media is telling you is happening.
Q, at the risk of upsetting you, I have to inform you that it is incredibly unlikely that President Trump will be impeached.
Remember that Bill Clinton somehow mistook a 22 year old interns vagina for a humidor, and then he spooged all over her new blue dress, yet he served his full term.
If you were to google the 2 words "Trump" and "Impeach" there would be millions and millions of hits, yet the POTUS has done committed a single impeachable act. Not one.
Q, do you know that President Trump has the legal authority to ban people from certain countries? That's right, there is a very easy to understand statute that allows a sitting President the power to make such an EO. I am not saying I agree with it, as I truly don't, but he does have that legal authority to do it, and it will eventually happen.
All this impeachment talk is being fueled by some rich white guys who need you to remain angry.
So the winners are the political channels owned by large corporations, whose stock prices make the rich even richer.
The losers are the people who pay a steep price with their loss of contentment, loss of a peaceful mindset, and loss of a happy go lucky existence.
To me, that is the greatest loss of all.
