Even if they pull Joe from running this next term I do not think that Kamala would even get the nod...that's sad given that the VP would generally be the next in line if they were up to running....not sure I have ever heard Kamala. maybe she has and I missed it, state that she wants to run for president...she has virtually been nonexistent this past 4 year...not that there is much expectation on VP's, but at least give us something...

For me, it goes back to his early days as mayor of SF. When I first met the mrs, she loved her some Gavin Newsom. Tall, good looking cat. Then she began to see the light. The democratic party always wanted to push him towards the presidency. I called it back then. I believe they are behind their intended timeline. The goal was always governorship of California. Then the presidency. The problem is this total dipshit couldn't keep it in his pants and had a damn sex scandal. Sleeping with the homie's chick. What's that say? Instead they had him lay low. Brought Jerry Brown back. Made Gavin lieutenant governor and then finally governor. Took the scenic route. The folly is that in that time,  SF and Cali has gone from a crystal palace awash with tech money to a dump. So he doesn't have the "look at my state's success" platform he may have had 10 years ago. It's the opposite now. An opponent simply need say, "Look at the failure that is your state."

Are you asking citizens, politicians, or both? The country's far-left, counter culture types have been coming west since, forever. The allure of the west goes back to the 1800s. Seattle, Portland, Saint Frank, and The Angels have always drawn the country's dreamers. Not every dreamer is a success though. Hippies dream. Junkies dream. Hell, hippies became junkie. And speed freaks. And this dynamic births a certain type of politician. A Nancy Pelosi. And Gavin Newsom.

That's not why Newsom is a bumbling idiot, but I wanted to throw that out there...last I saw there was some 58% or so that said that we should secede from the Union....that's how inept that some people are...

Now on to Newsom...that guys is a trend setter and that is what he wants to be known for...he wants to be the first State to do anything and then loves when other States follow...his approach, however, has always been handling matters with a blank check approach....he doesn't care what it does or how it impacts businesses, which of course why many packed up and left the State...there is no advantage of owning a business in California except it is highly populated and widely diverse. ....not just businesses leaving but people to...we have seen or heard the reports that people are leaving California in high numbers because it is too expensive to live...somewhere our State the politicians believes the idea is to raise minimum wage to support better living, however, with higher wages comes price hikes on everything else...not the grandest idea...looks good when you make a lot of money, but money is relative and so we pay almost $6 a gallon in gas and $5 for a gallon of milk and so on....

Newsom said he was going to take on homelessness and build more housing. This has not happened and the homelessness rate has increased under his watch. In fact, California has spent billions on homelessness, yet the homeless in the State keeps rising. Not only does California have the highest homeless rate in the country, but it has the highest rate per capita as well. We have about 200,000 without homes. Despite receiving billions in Federal, State and local funds, about 20 billion has been spent over a five year period yet the homelessness crisis continues to rise year after year...

Newsom pledged to keep California safe....ok...friggen laughable...not sure how a sanctuary State can be safe...we probably still have the highest gang rate per capita as well...I don't have the numbers on per se, but I'm sure it is high

Newsom wanted to build a healthier California...again laughable...or was he referring to the free healthcare one can get if you are here illegally and do not or cannot afford health insurance because the hospitals cannot refuse to treat you while the taxpayers pay for their treatment.

Newsom said he was going to create opportunity...ummm, opportunity for who? Other States...because that is where the people and businesses are going...didn't someone just post the other day that Space X is moving out of Hawthorne and going to Texas...why is that? Virtually the same as it is for any business that moves out of California...no benefits are offered to entice businesses to come or stay...

Lastly, Newsom wanted to fight for Californians Civil Rights and immigration...he may actually be fighting harder for the illegal immigrants than he is for the legal citizens....

California has and makes bad policy choices...Newsom and other politicians in this State blame the residents instead of looking at their failed policies, yet no one holds more power to implement changes than a Governor...the Governor appoints leaders over water, electricity, housing, transportation, etc. to run and solve problems, yet California continues to have rolling blackouts, shortage of water, lack of affordable housing and certainly zero advancement in transportation...can't even get a high speed built to Vegas...Under Newsom, the State has failed to build any sort of water shortage projects that voters agreed to back in 2014 or 2015. Why? The State has inadequate solar or wind energy, which adds to the rolling blackouts...

Housing is horrible...let me give you a general idea...in my area, southern Cali along the coast we had a developer come in and build affordable housing, a bunch of units...they go for over $3000 a month 3 bedroom in like 1200 sq ft....and my town is not Malibu or Marina Del Rey but it's about 20 minutes north of Malibu and 20 minutes south of Santa Barbara....but how in anyone's right mind is over 3k a month affordable housing....it isn't....

And lastly, Newsom 100% botched the pandemic....just a complete imbecile...set rules and guidelines and broke them himself and only when caught apologized...the kicker is the 20 billion he borrowed from the Feds for unemployment and then proceeded to have people in place who had no check and balances as to who was getting the money...money went to dead people, money went to prisoners, money went to the mickey mouse club, money went to out of state people and so on....it was botched so horribly it made headline news and cost the State 20 billion dollars in which it has not paid back...guess who is paying it back, the businesses....it estimated that it will not be repaid by the businesses until 2033...this is only the half it though...during this mismanagement of funds he was preaching got the citizens that the State had a 20 billion dollar surplus and we had plenty of money to fund all these projects only to come out weeks later and say no, we are in a deficit...what a clown...this led to the State recalling him, which he got the votes and was able to stay...I don't know how but he did...it was uproar out here but some how he slick willied himself back in...people in Cali must be dumb to vote this guy back in...

Newsom is disastrous on so many levels...this is just the tip of it...and not the good tip if you know what I mean.
