Like Trump, Perry has consistently mocked the Obama climate change effort as driven by politics. He questions the mainstream scientific consensus on global warming, that holds the Earth is warming at an alarming rate and time is running out to make aggressive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. During his 2012 run, he called climate change a “contrived, phony mess.” When Perry ran for president again in the 2016 race, he joined almost all the other candidates in refusing the embrace the scientific consensus on warming.
But under Perry’s administration, Texas firms leveraged federal subsidies to become a national leader in wind energy. It produces more energy from wind than any other state, and Perry boasted that emissions in the state have dropped substantially as a result.
Even so, he continues to call for an end to such subsidies.
Secretary State REX Tillison states "climate change is reality," it isn't a man made vs natural occurrence debate it is an engineering problem he can fix.

Why should the USA work under one set of "Climate" rules and China and other countries laugh and choke on the air or can't land planes because of the pollution? The Climate bs is a hoax for starters, but it's a great way for the current moronic administration to hamper businesses at home as well as make them flee the country while other countries sign on but do nothing. I'm for clean air & clean water, all the other bs is exactly that. The world will decide when it's had enough of humans and there's nothing even the control freak Democrats will be able to do about it.
As long as Trump has smart/successful people in positions instead of community organizers & college professors, I'm all for the cabinet appointments. I'm sure the libs on here want Wal-mart cashiers in the cabinet. The lefts big run is over.... After 4 years of Trump the country will be amazed at what a non-politician can do with some smart people in key positions. Once the lefts hold on the ghetto gets broken, that'll be the final nail in the coffin. Like the man said "What do you have to lose?" (brilliant observation, Chicago has 748 murders this year, run by a bunch of gun control left wing morons).
You once stated that you are Fifty-something year old
How has Fifty-something years on this earth revealed the extent of your foolishness

How do you know Climate Change (not CLimate BS) is a hoax
what does Climate change have to do with planes landing ?
Beijing is suffering from high levels of pollution.
Smog hangs heavy over Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, where children grow up with asthma and other respiratory illnesses.
I like to use facts
for your info, scientists have been studying climate change since 1896
Svante Arrhenius's report was the first to quantify the contribution of carbon dioxide to the greenhouse effect, which refers to any gas capable of absorbing infrared radiation, thereby trapping and holding heat in the atmosphere
Rick Perry is no scientist

Yes, Perry not being a scientist is extremely amusing to me considering the Department of Energy works with other agencies to prevent nuclear materials or weapons from being acquired by terrorists. This idiot's background is in animal husbandry, not physics or anything remotely necessary for this subject matter.
He wanted to eliminate this department and doesn't have any of the requisite information that's vital to lead the department. Putting people who aren't remotely qualified in an area they have no experience in at all will usually lead to disaster.
Anyone who's remotely skeptical can probably guess how I feel about many of the people appointed by Trump into their cabinet positions. Many of them will have absolutely no idea what to do and are likely to fail spectacularly. Trump better do his best to suppress the news and centralize it like Putin does so he can control the messages because it'll take a hell of a spin to rationalize some of the damage that's coming.

The OCE was created in March 2008 after the cases of former Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, R-Calif., who served more than seven years in prison on bribery and other charges; as well as cases of former Rep. Bob Ney, R-Ohio, who was charged in the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal and pleaded guilty to corruption charges and former Rep. William Jefferson, D-La., convicted on corruption in a separate case.
The move to effectively kill the Office of Congressional Ethics was not made public until late Monday, when Representative Robert W. Goodlatte, Republican of Virginia and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, announced that the House Republican Conference had approved the change. There was no advance notice or debate on the measure.
The surprising vote came on the eve of the start of a new session of Congress, where emboldened Republicans are ready to push an ambitious agenda on everything from health care to infrastructure, issues that will be the subject of intense lobbying from corporate interests. The House Republicans’ move would take away both power and independence from an investigative body, and give lawmakers more control over internal inquiries.

Big Pharma Lost $24.6 Billion in 20 Minutes During Donald Trump’s Press Conference
Pharmaceutical companies are "getting away with murder," President-elect Donald Trump said during his Wednesday press conference — and the sector didn't get away unscathed.
After Trump mentioned drug prices and pharmaceutical companies' tax inversions, the nine biggest pharmaceutical companies by market cap on the S&P 500 shed roughly $24.6 billion in 20 minutes. That includes the market caps of Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, Merck, Amgen, AbbVie, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Gilead, Celgene, and Eli Lilly.
The SPDR S&P Biotech exchange-traded fund, which tracks pharmaceutical stocks, fell nearly 4% in that time, while the iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology Index fell 3% in the same period. Granted, the loss in market cap for big pharma is small relative to companies' overall market cap — a 3% decrease from their combined $906.8 billion before Trump's speech.
Specifically, shares of Celgene are down 3.5% as of Wednesday afternoon; Johnson and Johnson, down 1.61%; Bristol-Myers, down 5.5%; Pfizer, down 2.75%; Merck, up 1.67%; Amgen, down 2.27%; AbbVie, down 4.2%; Gilead, down 2.3%; and Eli Lilly, down 2.6%
For the most part, pharmaceutical executives were relieved when Trump won the election. That's because Hillary Clinton, the one-time Democratic presidential nominee, heavily criticized drug companies on the campaign trail, pledging to crack down on prices increases. Big pharmaceutical executives hoped that Trump would not come down as hard on their industry.

there may be some method to this madness. throw out a few executive orders to get the masses scared of all of the brown people. once they are preoccupied with their irrational fear, commence the process of f*cking them over and rewarding himself and his wall street buddies.
this is a good part. should be a big help to all of those working class whites.
Trump also signed a presidential memorandum that instructs the Labor
Department to delay implementing an Obama-era rule that requires
financial professionals who charge commissions to put their clients'
best interests first when giving advice on retirement investments.

E) Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act. Fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines, and lets states manage Medicaid funds. Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications.
F) Affordable Childcare and Eldercare Act. Allows Americans to deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes, incentivizes employers to provide on-side childcare services, and creates tax-free Dependent Care Savings Accounts for both young and elderly dependents, with matching contributions for low-income families.
G) End Illegal Immigration Act Fully-funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full understanding that the country Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such wall; establishes a 2-year mandatory minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the U.S. after a previous deportation, and a 5-year mandatory minimum for illegally re-entering for those with felony convictions, multiple misdemeanor convictions or two or more prior deportations; also reforms visa rules to enhance penalties for overstaying and to ensure open jobs are offered to American workers firs
