Russia sees Fox news Carlson as a tool for promoting propaganda as his pro-Putin comments have been frequently cited on Russian TV. Bartiromol has been named in a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox news for promoting misinformation during 2020 election.

aside from their recent cheerleading for russias invasion of a democracy , fux news is similar in many ways to russian state tv , in that viewers usually only get one side of a story and almost always partisan spin . the most gullible viewers will tune out all other sources and base their beliefs only on that one-sided spin
the liberal leaning networks do this too ,but to a more limited degree and of course there r so many network alternatives that any possible partisan spin on one liberal-leaning network (there r several) is not necessarily carried by all or even most others , so a prudent network surfer can get a much more balanced viewpoint . no such balance given with the only viable right-wing network fux news
