For instance, Gardner went back on his extreme position on abortion two weeks after launching his Senate campaign and was blasted by Personhood org. of some kind and that's not the only thing he went back on. No, I don't mean the race was decided by single issue and it's probably a pretense.
What I am saying is a Republican doesn't have to take extreme positions on issues to get elected and I hope others can see that, too.

Bunny ,I can understand why Gardner would flip-flop on some issues ..since he was originally a Democrat....but,, I can agree with you.. Republican candidates don't need to take extreme positions on issue to get elected ..just strong conservative positions like personal responsibility, limited government, American style free markets, individual liberty, traditional American values and a strong national defense.
