60 million Americans infected...300,000 hospitalized...17,000 deaths...

Did any sports shut down?....Nope...were any flights/cruises/business shut down?...Nope...

Was there any panic?...The media downplayed everything about it...why?...Obamacare was being aggressively promote by the media and anything that made Obama look bad was not being reported...Obamacare was eventually passed and signed into law March of 2010...

Did then president Obama do anything about it?...The swine flu outbreak started in Mexico in April 2009...it took Obama 6 months to declare a national emergency on 10-25-2009...by that time, the infections were rampant...

But will you hear anything about this in the media today?...Nope...just like back then...media suppression to make a demoncrat president "good" and a republican president "bad'...The propaganda is never ending...Trump stupid...Trump can't handle it...Trump will kill us...

Trump, criticized for his slow response to coronavirus pandemic, is trying to shift blame.  He falsely accused Obama's response to swine flu as a disaster.  But experts thought Obama administration did a excellent job with sick numbers lower than forecasted.  69% public approval rating in handling swine flu pandemic according to ABC/Washingtonpost poll.  However 43% approve of Trump's response to coronavirus pandemic according to Quinnipiac poll.  Fact checkers politifact and snopes rated false Trump's claim that Obama waited 6 months to call swine flu an emergency after millions infected and thousands died.  Actually, Obama called a public health emergency with only 20 confirmed cases  in the US.  6 weeks before World health organization declared swine flu a pandemic.  Under Obama, millions of Americans were tested with vaccine developed in 6 months.  Under Trump, US lags behind every developed country in testing and a vaccine isn't expected to be ready until after a year.  Since coronavirus pandemic is still in the early stage, Trump might end up with worser numbers than Obama after first year of pandemic.

60 million got it, 17,000 deaths? So by my calculation (I know you don't do math) a death rate of 0.0002833333 or .0028 %. Look up the mortality rate for Corona virus.

My last check was about 4% and climbing. Based on your numbers, your swine flu of 2009 would've had to kill 2.4 million people to match that. And corona virus looks to be, atleast as contagious, as H1N1 or any of the various flu strains, if not more so. And this point, I think your whole shtick is one big troll. What does that even mean?

He needs to take a seat and follow the advice of the medical experts for once.

If he was not giving press conferences and trying to calm folks and explain what they are doing — you would be saying that he was nowhere to be found.  You know this is true. 

He has many experts at the talks and turns the questions over to them — at a time like this he is listening and following the experts advice.  Maybe, you could argue they are not ‘your’ experts — but nonetheless, they are front and center.

When you are CEO and a company is in crisis you have to be front and center — you can’t run and hide.  Trump, running businesses, knows this.   Any CEO/President does this — even Obama did it. 

There has to be a measure of information and assuaging along with calculated action.  They seemed to be correcting and learning from the past times the country has faced this sort of thing.

So, what exactly do you think he should be doing?  

He should sit in his office working with Congress to pass this bill and not parading his ass out to speak about something he knows nothing about.

Please don't talk about him in a CEO role. Bankrupt how many times?. Have you seen how much debt he has added to the future of our children?
