According to Roman, crime rates are at a point now where we are essentially back to the long-term trend from the last decade. "We have made huge investments in community-based violence intervention that are really new and are of sufficient scale that they could change things."

Biden administration supports law enforcement and crime fighting programs. In contrast, Trump administration budgets propose defunding of community police, FBI, IRS, homeland security and Bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives. GOP has a suspected felon as its presidential nominee who wants to pardon criminals that attacked police defending capitol.

Vast majority of homicides are committed by native born Americans. According to Cato institute study, more enforcement of immigration laws won't change crime rates. Deporting all illegal and asylum immigrants wouldn't reduce crime rates.

Logical Keeping in mind that estimated 40% - 50% or so of illegals are NOT from illegal border crossings and MANY are white, English speakers!
Targeting ONLY the border smacks of racism.
Republicans now own the problem though, since they are the ones (trump!) who voted down the bipartisan Border refoms bill the majority were willing to pass until the convict sex-offender/mob boss got involved.

Not according to some...crimes are a slippery slope as of late...it seems like it is back to the ol' added phrase that it is only illegal unless you get caught.....
Like riding a law mower with a mullet...in certain states that is considered to be illegal but who is really following up with Cletus to ensure he complies...most neighbors are just happy that he isn't taking his shirt off anymore since the great incident of 2008...
COVERS allows u to tell someone they are sexually frustrated so long as ur hands are clean

According to GunViolence.org Biden's first three years in office had more MASS SHOOTINGS than Trump's entire four years in office and that includes the induced chaos of 2020, Trump's last year, for political reasons.

Entering a country illegally is a crime..enjoy your day
Plus many crimes from illegal alien's do not get reported or ICE is not contacted. The Biden migrant crime will be with us for many decades, well after Biden is long gone.

Police Officiers shot or killed under Trump averaged just under 337 per year. Police Officiers shot or killed in Biden's first three years averaged just over 423 per year. Over a 25% increase!

But "they" will argue that we were in a shelter in place order and the numbers are skewed as a result...and because Trump let the Coronavirus happen that he did so, so that these numbers could show improvement....you know Trump's evil orange regime at hand just playing his cards right....I mean left....no,....

Correction, 357 shot or killed under Trump, not 337. 18.5% increase under Biden.
Look at this link. Last 10 years almost all categories highest during Biden years.
Of course it's Republican lack of federal gun banning that caused it! Funny how Trump years were not as bad.
