I would rather each state have their own healthcare and not have the federal government trying to have 1 plan for everyone.

different states are different, and one federal plan can not work.

They should care about Benghazi. Hillary showed her true courage by feigning a concussion so she would not have to appear before the Committees. Great leadership there! This country can not servive 12 years of Liberalism. How many people will be on food stamps at the end of her 1st term? How many part time workers will we have who line up at churches to get a bowl of soup at 5 pm? How many of these part time workers lining up for a bowl of soup have the IRS on their back because they do not meet the ACA standard? The list just goes on ans on and on.

I say let each doctor, health care company and facility, and specialist write off a limited number of patient expenses per year. Find out a workable percentage or dollar figure and go with it.

What health care professional wouldn't take advantage of that?

Where is the flaw with that?

I have. I had a friend who fit all the stereo types and had a low self esteem at the wrong time and I really believe that he and his high school friend convinced himself that he was h/omosexual.

I don't think its absolute as you think that people are born G A Y.

I think we have much studies to do on the effects of low self esteem at vulnerable points in a person's life.

Otherwise, why would stereo types exist at the levels they do?

Can anyone explain bi-sexuality? Are they born attracted to both sexes? Or are they born attracted to only one sex and at some point in their lives suddenly get a hankering for the other sex?

Good idea but aren't they already writing off losses from unpaid account receivables when filing tax forms?  There are many deductions available but most people only take advantage of a few.

a lot of people can explain bisexuality.  they are called bisexuals.  if you talk to them, they will tell you that at some point, they were wired to like both sexes, just like heterosexuals will tell you that one day, they realized they like the opposite sex, person*xuals will tell you that one day they realized they liked the same sex and christian values rightwingers will tell you over and over they really, really, really are not happy in a convincing larry craig/manti teo kind of way.

So, low self-esteem leads to homosexuality? I mean, low self-esteem could not have anything to do with a lifestyle that society members (like you) still pass judgment upon.

that may be true.  i saw staying alive when i was young and loved that chick.  (santorum has a similar experience but with the travolta character).  maybe that had a hand in me being heterosexual.  but if there were outside factors, it doesn't mean i can change my sexual orientation.  of course, everything is a choice, in a literal sense.  i choose to eat and drink too.  but if i chose to do something different, if would darn me up.  in the latter case, i'd die, in the former case, i'd turn into a republican.

Some people cope with the low self esteem better than others.

Why can't people be born neutral and their life experiences help form their identity?

I don't think they write off nearly as much as they could that would help make a major dent in the problem.

I didn't. In post 56, you talked about your son who has a low self esteem (I imagine there is a genetic basis) and was convinced he was guy by someone. You said it, not me. 

Were you born attracted to women or did life shake that? Why would it be so hard for someone to be born attracted to the same sex?

This reminds me of how the 14 alias talked about his choice of heterosexuality was a choice that he worked hard at...

What history has shown us is that bowSlit simply regurgitates the prescribed viewpoint dictated to him and then when questioned on why crumbles...

I never said anything about my son. What kind of reading comprehension scores did you get?

Why is it so hard to believe that a person could be born gender neutral? What proof or experiences do you have that say its ablolute that you're born one way or the other.

Re: your post 3, my suggestion is to try the exchanges when they become more user friendly (or more like, if) as most have reported lower prices based on the competition between the companies.


Show me were prices are coming in lower.  Are you saying there wasn't competition before? 

There was plans for people with per existing conditions. States have state risk pools and there was a federal plan (pcip). 

The problem with healthcare is the prices it cost for procedures and prescriptions. Liberals completely went after the wrong people.
