Government reopens

A three week spending gap measure will reopen the government.  Funding will fade Feb 15th unless a larger funding is approved. 

Trumped signed the legislation on Friday night. Now the much tougher work will have 3 weeks to define the border security DACA dreamers the mounting debt and budgetary concerns needed to support  the monetary needs of the U.S.. 

Good chance for some of the government workers to find real jobs in the private sector and stop being Mitch and Nancy's pawns in the ongoingpettiness 

In an article by jpwagan  Obama stated we need to secure our borders with personal and infrastructure.  Oh how 6 years can change realities in politics.  At the time the republicans scoffed at a wall and democrats.could not be more vocal of creating a barrier to stop illegal immigrants. 

Now the republicans want the did,democrats can't argue more vehemently against a man made barrier. Trump wants to extend the fence begun with the o Bama administration.... go figure.  Well will get through Valentine's day and be back at congress did nothing and we will have another shutdown......

Okay he will play along. But Trump does not need congress as o Bama showed during his term congress is a defunct institutional dinosuar. Executive branch through executive action is all that is needed till congress can function again.

Uh, Slim, don't we pay enough lawyers already? What you suppose is that Trump can just go ahead and do it, if that is what he wants to do. They may throw him a bone in the next three weeks, but if there is another shutdown Mar-A-Lago won't be far enough to run away and hide, and if he absconds from funds not appropriated for the wall it will be "see you in court, Donny". If anything, maybe he learned he was elected president, not emperor or dictator. Where is that "art of the deal" or "I will take responsibility" or  "a shutdown is always the presidents fault"? He even backed out on "The buck stops here". Not any more, he says plenty of people can pass it around. 

I believe it is the set to why he declares an national emergency, because congress .can not act hence the justification for executive actiins.

I'm really close to burning my MAGA hat. Trump lost my respect. This is like Lincoln surrendering to the south.

If trump loses to the anti-American's when the February deadline comes, I'm done. I'd vote for Hillary, Pelosi, or Obama, at least I know when they fight, they won't back down and bend over in defeat, like trump just did.

The world is watching. Russia, Iran, and China just saw our president look weak and get embarrassed and defeated. I'm about to abandon trump and the party for good. 

What took you so freaking long? Was it all the lies? Was it Mexico not paying for the wall? Was it Nancy eating Trump's lunch? Was it Wilbur Ross telling federal employees to get a bank loan until the shutdown was over? Was it the Coast Guard telling their members to babysit or have a garage sale to make money during the shutdown?

And his entire arrogance of the entitled life he has always led leads to him vacating 1600 Pennsylvania ave.
