BS. There should be no place on this forum for repeatedly insulting and attacking the moderator!! ABN started everything by doing THAT!
OK, I get the hint.... we want to make sure ALL information is fairly consolidated, no matter the importance of subject. Understood, I will assist in the consolidation per the "hint".....
TIMELINE
Tim Walz re-enlisted for six years in the National Guard on September 18, 2001. That means he obligated himself to serve until September 18, 2007.
In 2003, then-First Sergeant Walz (E-8) signed a Statement of Agreement and Certification to attend the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, where he agreed to serve for a *minimum* of two years after promotion to Command Sergeant Major (CSM)
On September 17, 2004, then-First Sergeant Walz was frocked to Command Master Sergeant (E-9) of the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery regiment. By doing so, he was obligated to serve as a Command Sergeant Major until September 17, 2006, and he still maintained his enlistment contract, which obligated his service through September 18, 2007.
In March 2005, Walz and 1/125 were notified they would be mobilized and deployed to Iraq. They were given a 2 month window but no confirmed date (not out of the ordinary).
On May 16, 2005, 7 months after assuming his position as the Command Sergeant Major of 1/125 and 2 months after being notified he was going to deploy to Iraq, Walz QUIT by dropping his retirement papers. This was a FULL 18 months before the end of his Sergeant Major academy agreement and 2.5 years before the end of his enlistment contract. Walz voluntarily signed two contracts to serve our country, went to school on the taxpayer's dime, used the rank of Command Sargeant Major, and quit without completing his full obligated time.
He falsely filed paperwork with the Minnesota National Guard to retire as an E-9, a Command Sergeant Major, knowing full well he did not meet the obligations to retire as an E-9.
On September 10, 2005, the Minnesota National Guard discovered that he didn’t fulfill his commitment and busted down his retirement rank from an E-9 to an E-8. His official retirement grade and rank is E-8: a Master Sergeant
Walz cannot claim the title of Command Master Sergeant. He was only frocked as an E-9 and never completed the requirements to be officially promoted to the rank of E-9. Walz is lying and cannot claim the title of command master sergeant, as he never met the criteria.
Walz referred to himself as a retired Command Sergeant Major in his run for Congress and Governor. This is a lie and stolen valor.

If we wanted to consolidate info we would have two or three threads total, the other thread was moved because two members inside the thread were cussing each other out so instead of boxing two people for being combative I moved the thread that caused the contention. When discussion degrades in a thread it gives reason to move to the box per the guidelines and rules.

@wallstreetcappers
Thank you for the clarification, I did see the interaction where it went off track.... they just can't help themselves. So many in the Box right now, busy week...
I'm happy to see it wasn't due to post #172 nonsense

There are plenty of threads here where those comments can and should be posted
....NOT clogging the forum with brand new threads.

Iraq 2005-06 was very dangerous. Roadside bombs, rocket/mortar attacks on bases made up the majority of casualties, so non door kickers were in as much danger as grunts/commandos....
More on the POS faker:
Walz has never been to war in a combat zone as he claims. His only deployment was to Italy for 6 months. He did not "serve in Afghanistan" (vomit).
Walz claims he couldn't run for Congress while serving in the National Guard while deployed - but that's ALSO a lie. He simply had to file paperwork with the Department of Defense, and he could have run for political office as so many other reservists and National Guard soldiers have.
This video link is directly from Kamala's campaign HQ..... Clip of Walz falsly claiming his Sargent Major (CSM) status instead of Master Sargent.

Again....dude just couldn't let go of him losing his CSM rank. Embellishing military service is fooking one of the LOWEST of the LOWS. JFC.
This is HIS twitter account, post from 2018:
"The president undermined our national security this week at his summit in Helsinki. What's more, Tim Pawlenty and Jeff Johnson both refused to condemn it. As governor and a retired Command Sergeant Major, I will never back down from protecting Minnesotans."

Fact is Walz served as a command sergeant major. But his rank changed after retirement because he didn't complete academy coursework.

Vast majority of soldiers haven't seen combat. Neither Vance nor Walz. But in 24 years of military service, Walz carried, fired and trained soldiers in weapons of war.

Those fish sticks could not have been” sconsiglio “ or to put it in layman’s terms “ scungili “ because that stuff is technically a conch so there’s that . I do wonder what kind of fish it was though .

Walz allowed his biggest city to be destroyed for days. Then when they did start cracking down on the rioting, Harris supported a fund that bailed the criminals out. Quite a pair, eh?

TRUTH!
"three nights of heavy rioting from May 27, 2020, to the overnight hours of May 29, 2020, resulted in an estimated $500 million of damages to 1,500 property locations."

To claim Walz let Minnesota burn is misleading. His response was as fast as possible under circumstances. Typically, mayor and local officials are the main authorities responsible for managing protests. Normally, they don't ask for state assistance. Walt couldn't activate national guard until mayor sent a formal request with detailed action plan. So actually Walz acted quickly after request received. Due to logistics, much time is needed to eventually get all troops on the ground. Trump praised Walz for his handling of Floyd protests in acknowledging difficulty of the situation.

Not misleading at all. The mayor of Minneapolis called Waltz at about 6pm on May 28th saying he needed help and lost control. The Gov said he would consider it. The mayor made the formal written request the next morning. It was later around 4pm that Waltz said he activated the guard. Had he activated the guard the night before they would have been deployed on May 29th with the mayor's action plan ready for them.
IMO, the mayor should have never needed to call the gov, Waltz was well aware of the situation as his wife got off smelling the burning tires. The gov should have already been engaged in the situation.

Tim Walz’s former military superior made claims that called into question the Minnesota governor’s conduct in the U.S. National Guard during a CNN interview.
Former Minnesota National Guard Command Sgt. Maj. Doug Julin appeared to bolster criticism that Walz abandoned the unit with his account of the former Guardsman going around him to leave the National Guard before his team went to Iraq.
He relayed to CNN anchor Laura Coates that Walz and the whole unit – "including my boss, commander, and the command team" – had multiple meetings to discuss deployment months before Walz sought retirement.
According to the former sergeant major, Walz was at each of these meetings. Julin also asserted that in the lead up to deployment Walz assured him that he was going to join the battalion in Iraq.
However, he told Coates that in June 2005, he found out that Walz had quit without telling him, having gotten permission to retire from a higher-level officer - a break in protocol, according to Julin.
"Tim Walz knew the process and procedures, he went around me and above and beyond me… basically went in there to get somebody to back him… it was just a backdoor process," he told Coates.

Fact is Walz served as a command sergeant major. But his rank changed after retirement because he didn't complete academy coursework.
