What? Clearly he's been beaten by the stupidity stick, and quite likely fallen from the ugly tree. Hopefully he'll soon be squashed by the ban hammer, though undoubtedly he'll be back in another reincarnation.

I am simply making observations of reality and the history of weather threads....

My contribution is explaining the context of this thread..  What are you doing?

Ruff...GW has not been proven yet, however the is trend is obvious. Not only to the laymen, but to experts in the field.

The last three decades have been warmer than the last 400 years.

  Artic ice is rapidly disappearing/ Polar bears and indigenous cultures are already suffering from the sea-ice loss.

Montana's Glacier National Park now has only 27 glaciers versus 150 a hundred years ago,1910.

Coral reefs suffering the worst bleaching-or die-offs ever recorded.

An upsurge in the amount of extreme weather events, such as heat waves, strong tropical storms. extreme wildfires.

Meanwhile fools in this post are laughing at it.

The National Climatic Data Center, reported almost no temperature records were actually broken:....
 
The NOAA database of all-time Max Temperature...shows that there were no records broken on July 17, July 18, July 19, or July 20th. A total of 4 stations broke records on July 21, 20 on July 22, and 10 on July 23, 2011.

There were only 34 new all-time daily temperature records set during last week's "record-breaking heat."

This is out of over 6000 records previously set for each day since such things have been reported.

For instance, the four set Thursday were out of 6,219 historically for that day. This represented only 0.06 percent.

On Friday, 20 records were set out of 6,108, or 0.3 percent.

As you can see, the actual records broken were statistically insignificant....

I would imagine both high's and low's are reached somewhere in the world every day of the year.
