Now running for governor of Illinois, here is a man that will change the game:
One quote says it all.
CHICAGO ALDERMAN AMEYA PAWAR, one of several Democrats vying for his party’s nomination to run for Illinois governor against incumbent Republican Bruce Rauner, doesn’t think the drug war was a failure.
“The war on drugs was a success,” he said in a speech on criminal justice reform given last month. “Because the war on drugs was never actually on drugs. It was against black people.”
Boo yah kah!!!!

the war on marijuana was truly a war on minorities (black people and hispanics). plenty of literature out there about how and why it started.
since then, it's kind of evolved into a vehicle that primarily serves to increase the size of government and waste money. it keeps unnecessary, and often useless, parts of government employed and sucking up taxpayer money and diverts resources away from productive, although more difficult (government and diligence/difficulty don't mix well), tasks police and the criminal justice system should be doing.

Every Indian i've ever known has been kinda racist.
Their caste biases are really really bad. I have many Indian friends and it is horrible how they are towards each other. Many also carry a chip on their shoulder living here thinking Americans look down and their customs are not understood.

That chip is the reason I think they are so racist to begin with. I've read books that speak to it being inherently human that any group who has faced discrimination and prejudice to pass on that same thing to subsequent groups. To use an example that doesn't use typical minorites, in this country alone the English did it to the Irish, the Irish did it to Italians, Italians to eastern Europeans and so forth. With that said, they can be very racist and prejudice. And they treat there women horribly. Those are generalizations and obviously not blanket statements. Just speaking to my very limited experience and knowledge of the culture.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Yeah India is majorly splintered because the British messed them up pretty good and allowed the different kingdoms to fight with each other..
Now it seems every "kingdom" wants its own state, so the people stupidly vote to separate themselves from their current state to form their own because of the feelings they have towards other group/caste levels inside the region they live.
Little do they know that separating into another state does nothing to help their plight but to increase their tax burden...so many layers of state/national/local leaders means more people to bribe and hoops to jump through. Their country is majorly messed up.
I have many friends from the North and the South, a few from the West and they know from looking at each other where they are from and what caste group they are from and friends are not really friends because this caste hatred runs generations deep. They truly feel better than a lower caste even if they dont openly say so..many have admitted this to me when discussing the topic when others are not around.
India cannot progress solely because of the ugly caste system in place.

No he won't win. But I love the stones on the guy to say something like that. Basically eliminating any possibility of winning, as Club Dirt elucidated, to bring a truth to light.
