As President Silver Spoon Donald threatens hefty budget cuts for the U,S Coast Guard, they just completed a 6.6 million dollar project to protect his waterfront Mar- a-Lago- Club. This is the same club where  he increased annual membership fees from 100 to 200k on January 1st. 

Interestingly enough, Coast Guard Adm. Paul Zukunft said Tuesday he will continue to support transgender service members under his command..

Nice to see some push back on that moron.

Today marks the 227th anniversary of the creation of the US Coast Guard.

The Continental Navy had been disbanded in 1785.  Thus, between 1790 and 1798, there was no United States Navy and the newly formed maritime force ... referred to simply as "the cutters were the only warships protecting the coast, trade, and maritime interests of the new republic.....

The Coast Guard is a multi-mission, maritime, military service Its mission among others is to protect U.S. economic interests in the nation's waterways, along the coast, on international waters and the waterfront club Mar-a-Lago ... or in any maritime region as required to support national security.

Those of us in Florida wish he would stay somewhere else like Camp David where most presidents spent much of their leisure time. 

IMO..6.6 million could have been better spent by the Coast Guard.

I'am sure the people in Kailua and Honolulu felt the same way about the Obama's vacations to Hawaii..

This thread is a great example of how liberalism is and always has been a mental disorder. I for 1 do not want 1 cent of my taxes to go to anybody's sex change operation and their long term care that in a lot of cases ends in suicide.

I never said anything of the kind doubleup. I would never disparage anybody that has worn the uniform or is wearing the uniform. I don't want any of my taxes paying for their sex change operation and their after care. I guarantee you that transgenders will not waste any of their tax money on me. That is all.

You sound like an idiot. I'm not saying that you are an idiot. I'm just saying that if anyone read your posts, even if they agreed with you, they'd probably assume that you were a tad idiotic. Just a skosh. I don't think anyone's employer provided health coverage should have to pay for a sex change, as I view it as elective, but if someone has put on the uniform to fight for our country I think they deserve a pass. And anyone who hasn't fought for our country shouldn't have an opinion, our President included.

They are joining the military for the free medical process of changing their anatomy. Not all. 40 per cent of transgenders make suicide attempts. 92 per cent of those have made a suicide attempt by the age of 25. I don't support this specefic social engineering practice initiated by the previous President. This is my 'skoshy' opinion.

No tax dollars should go toward gender reassignment surgery its that simple. Not a penny.  These are elective procedures non life threatening. If you are a man who "identifies" as a woman, put on a dress and get on with your life. After surgery they still look like men wearing a dress.

If a woman in her fifties identifies as a twenty year old should her cosmetic surgery be covered under universal heathcare? If an obese woman identifies as a thin person should her gastric bypass surgery be covered? Rachel dolazel identifies as trans black, should she be elegible for gov't programs intended for blacks? 

Of course not.

The hypocrisy from the Left is quite evident in this thread. Basically following the ideals o f liberal leaders that want the daughters of families to be on the front lines of battle while their feminized husbands put an apron on to wash dishes before kissing their kiddies good night and wishing them pleasant dreams.

You keep complaining about someone being a liberal like there is something wrong with it. Get over it, liberals are not going away. There are liberals on both sides of the aisle which means they don't buy into the extremes on either sides.

I have not complained once in this thread. I am just giving you the other side of the liberal social engineering concepts that went on with our previous President. They are:

1. Women in the front lines of battle.

2. Transgenders in the US military while the US tax payer pays for their confusion and after care.

I can not find one complaint in my posts.
